The Granny Brigade will generously be collecting donations for local TSA employees in Salina.
According to the organization, the Granny Brigade will be collecting donations on Friday, March 27 from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm at two locations.
Those locations include:
- 1825 S. Ohio St. (Eagle Radio Station)
- 2100 S. 9th St. (Fountain Plaza Center)
Donations acceptable will only be gift cards, non-perishable food items and/or cash for the Granny Brigade to purchase gift cards for the TSA employees.
Visa, Mastercards or cash cards WILL NOT be accepted.
All donations once done will be collected at Eagle Radio Station.
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees across the country are continuing to work without pay throughout the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shutdown and Tuesday, March 24 marks the 39th day.
