Ottawa County Commissioner Dawn Wolf to run for Kansas House

Dawn Wolf, today, filed to run for the Kansas House of Representatives, District 107. Wolf is a sixth-generation Kansan and a lifelong Republican. She works as an online coordinator for Bennington High School, USD 240, and is currently serving her second term as an Ottawa County Commissioner.

House District 107 includes Mitchell and Ottawa counties as well as parts of Cloud and Saline counties.

"As a county commissioner, I've seen first-hand rural communities struggle with recruiting industry, creating jobs, and building affordable housing," said Wolf. "I'll be a champion for local control and will work on issues that will improve the quality of life in rural Kansas."

Wolf and her husband, Tim, have been married for 43 years and have four children and nine grandchildren. They attend Bennington Bible Church. Wolf is an active volunteer with many local organizations.

"Our district is rooted in conservative Kansas values and I will fight to ensure they are represented in Topeka," said Wolf.

The seat is currently held by Rep. Susan Concannon. The Primary Election is Tuesday, August 6th and the General Election is Tuesday, November 5.
