UPDATED: Regional rain totals — little for Salina area, but much of Kansas saw flooding rains

Most of central Kansas saw inches of rainfall Wednesday, Oct. 25, with some regions of Kansas receiving almost eight inches.

The Salina region topped at 1.8 inches of rain in Marion and Assaria, but Emporia received almost eight inches of rain and parts of southwest Osage County got 9.35 inches. 

The Salina Regional Airport reported 0.28 inches this morning, with more showers expected for tomorrow.
