Riley Dean Faris, 30, of Salina, Kansas, unexpectedly passed away on October 17th, 2025 following a motorcycle accident.

He was born September 20, 1995 in Plainville, Kansas to parents, Tiny and Linda (Stithem) Faris. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and the best friend. He was a man of quick wit with a bigger heart than most, and had an uncanny ability to bring laughter to any situation. To know Riley was to love him. He would give anything to help in any capacity he could.

Riley grew up in Stockton, Kansas and later moved with his family to Salina. He graduated from Salina Central High School in 2014 then went on to pursue a career as a machinist. He started his career at Hoff’s Machine and Welding and was currently at Exline. As a second-generation member of Free Tomorrow Motorcycle Club, he came by it naturally and motorcycles were his passion; whether it was riding, building, fixing, or just burning some rubber, because who doesn’t love a good burnout?! Even from a young age, Riley was known for taking apart anything he could find and then trying to piece it back together to make it his own. Although cut short, his life has left a lasting impact on so many people and he will be missed by all that loved him.

Survivors include his parents, Tiny and Linda Faris; brother, Colton Faris (Kelly); nephew, Watson; and niece, Caroline Faris.Riley was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Alice Stithem; and aunt, Ronda Stanley.

He also leaves behind his brothers and their families of Free Tomorrow Motorcycle Club, many friends, paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Event will be held from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Tuesday, October 28, at the VFW Post 1432, 1108 W. Crawford St, Salina.

Donations may be directed to Linda Faris, with details to be determined at a later date, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina, Kansas.

Riley Dean Faris

Vivian Ruth Urban, 100, of Lucas, Kansas, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the presence of her loving family.

Vivian was born on August 9, 1925, to Noah and Ruth (Cullens) McGuire on the family farm seven miles northwest of Lucas, Kansas, in Osborne County. She was the sixth of their ten children.

Vivian learned early that faith in God, working hard, being persistent, respectful, kind, and generous was how she wanted to live her life. She loved growing up on the farm, working and having fun alongside her brothers, sisters, and parents. Times back then were good and bad, just like today. Her family survived the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl. She saw her brothers serve in World War II and return home safely. Those formative years shaped her into the wonderful, exceptional, and loving woman we all knew and loved. Vivian met and surpassed countless milestones in her 100-plus years, and she thanked God every day for her blessed life.

Vivian graduated from Lucas High School in 1943 and taught at North Delhi and Greenview County Grade Schools for two years. She married Duane Urban on December 16, 1945, in the Delhi Church north of Lucas. They started their family while living in Sylvan Grove, Kansas. They raised eight children: LaVaughn Ruth, Mary Frances, Carol Jean, Duane Carlisle, Mildred Marie, David Lee, Jo Ann, and Richard Alan, while farming and ranching. Times were tough for a lot of people during those years. Vivian and Duane welcome Sharon and Dale Urban, their niece and nephew, into their home for about a year to help out the family. It wasn’t easy, but that’s what you did for family.

When farming didn’t work out in 1964, the couple moved to Lucas, Kansas, and began working at K-18 Café and Home Oil Company. Then, in 1965, they started leasing the Café until 1981, when they purchased the business. They ran K-18 Café for 22 years until their retirement in 1987. During the Café years, Vivian wore many, many hats. She worked multiple shifts most days, and it was open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year back then. She was a cook, waitress, dishwasher, baker; she did payroll, taxes, laundry, and scheduling. The list goes on. Plus, she still took care of raising her family of eight kids. Most of whom worked alongside her at the Café. Vivian was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church and a 79-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Vivian was well known in the Lucas and Sylvan Grove communities and surrounding towns. Not only from the meals and pies she made at the Café, but every Sunday she brought to church banana-nut bread, cookies, and angel food cake. For family reunions and holidays, there were all flavors of pies, cookies, and kolaches, banana-nut bread, chocolate cheesecake, and her famous homemade chicken and noodle soup. (This is why most of us are not skinny.) If you ever stopped by to visit her, it was a good bet you were leaving with a loaf of banana-nut bread. Vivian continued her baking and cooking until around 98 years of age, when she decided to slow down.

Vivian loved seeing her grandchildren. Most of them called her “Grams”. She and Duane taught them to play pinochle, pitch, rummy, and cribbage. They would spend hours at home with them playing cards, sometimes until past their bedtime, because Grandpa hadn’t won a game yet. She also spent time teaching some of them how to make egg noodles, kolaches, and other recipes from scratch.

Up until her eyesight began failing, Vivian was an avid reader of many different genres of fiction. She also enjoyed her time at the Lucas Golden Age Center (Senior Center), having coffee, lunch, visiting, and playing pitch in the afternoon with her friends. Of course, she was never empty-handed when she came.

Vivian was also the person to ask if you had a question about local history. It didn’t matter what it was about, a person, place, event, or date. She was always able to recall the answer, plus even more related information. Even at 100 years of age, her memory never failed to amaze.

She always enjoyed watching or listening to her Kansas City Chiefs and Royals games on television and would cheer them on, wrapped up in their blankets to keep warm.

Earlier, Vivian’s persistence was mentioned, and another example of her determination was when she had a major heart attack at 99, which she recovered from. So she was able to make it to her 100th birthday party and celebrate that milestone with family and friends.

Vivian’s legacy is a remarkable one filled with love and devotion to family, kindness, generosity, her quiet strength and sense of humor, and never complaining because that was a waste of time. She was supportive and always available to listen, encourage, and give advice if needed. Her passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of all who loved her, and she will never be forgotten by those whose lives she touched.

Surviving family includes her children: Carol (Pete) Soto, Jr., Mildred Zurenda, David (Candi) Urban, Jo Ann (Lester) Frederking, Richard (Connie) Urban, 22 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane on June 11, 1998, her parents and siblings: Lavona Heinze, Nova Blundon, Naomi McNeil, Mary Jane Hendrix, Anita Isbell, Arven McGuire, Wilbur McGuire, and Richard McGuire, son: Duane Urban II, daughters: Mary Berry, and LaVaughn Urban, grandson: Lance Emerson, and great-granddaughter Jillian Fuellbier.

John Lee “Jack” Ostmeyer, 85, of Oakley, died Friday, October 17, 2025.

Jack was born July 9, 1940, in Oakley, the son of Tony and Armella (Schwebach) Ostmeyer. Jack was a proud Oakley Plainsman graduating with the class of 1958.

Jack married Billie Munk in 1960. Together they had three sons, Jeff, Pat, and Todd. After Billi's passing in 1967 when the boys were 3, 4, and 6, he married Ann (Mannebach-Ryan) in 1969 to which two children, Lisa and Rex were born.

Farm related occupations were his life choice having careers in IHC parts and service, hay grinding, Moormans feed sales, and farming the land.

Throughout his life Jack was active in his Catholic faith. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd and 4th Degrees, as well as the Loyal Order of Elks, holding offices in each organization. Sports were also a big part of his life, playing many holes of golf, and watching countless Wildcat, Chiefs, and Royals games. Later in life he enjoyed reading and was an avid collector of anything John Wayne.

Survivors include his wife Ann; children, Jeff (Karen), Pat, Todd (Ann), Lisa (Tim) Zenger, and Rex (Paula); thirteen grandchildren, Brandon (Roxanne), Kayla (Brandon) Potts, Nicholas, Jacob (Madeline), Brittany (Austin) Feyh, Keegan (Shawnna) Dick, Amber Dick, April (Travis) Vonfeldt, Jackilyn (Jeffrey) (Zenger) Blundon, Scuyler Zenger, Shailyn Zenger, Emily, and Natalie; ten great-grandchildren, Avalyn, Emmett, Rowan, Keeleigh (Brenden) Steinert, Grayson, Parker, Jordan, Remington, and one great-great grandchild Briggs, as well as his five siblings Stan, Joyce, Lynn, Dixie, and Rick.

Preceding him in death were his wife Billie, his parents, and his parents-in-law from each marriage.

Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m., with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Oakley with Fr. Jesse Ochs officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Oakley. Recent obituaries and service times

Stephanie De-Ann Marshall passed on October 11, 2025 in the care of Hospice at Village Manor in Abilene.

Mrs. Marshall was born Stephanie De-Ann Cossel November 10, 1949 to Kenneth Everett Cossel and Virginia Lea Smith Cossel in Spokane Washington.

On June 30, 1967, she was wed to William Ira Marshall Sr. To this union were three children, Robin Dee (Gary) Williams of Wichita, KS, Buffy Jo-El (Chris) Dugan of Wichita, KS, and William I. Marshall, Jr (Kelly Skinner) of Olathe, KS.

Dee attended Concordia public schools. She received a Bachelor of Science from Marymount College in 1988 and a Master of Business Administration from Kansas Wesleyan University in 1997. In 1999, Dee earned Certified Public Manager.

Dee was employed by The Kansas Department of Corrections as head accountant for the Ellsworth Correctional Facility in Ellsworth, Kansas, and as Business Administrator for the Topeka and Hutchinson Correctional Facilities. She also served as adjunct faculty for Benedictine College, Kansas Wesleyan University and Kansas State University of Salina teaching computer sciences, accounting, and linear statistics. She was a past president of Phi Beta Lambda of Marymount College.

Dee was a long-time Abilene resident and active in the community. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and served on the Pastoral Parish Council and the Finance Council. She was a member of The American Correctional Association, The Kansas Correctional Association and The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) where she served as State Treasurer and State Auditor, National Appointment as State Chair of Master Reports, Kansas Society DAR, Vice Chair of Auditing and Vice Chair America 250! Patriot Express, National Society of the DAR. She served in many offices for the Abilene Chapter DAR to include Regent, Vice Regent, Registrar and Treasurer. She served as the president of the Board of Directors for Great Plains Theatre, on the Abilene City Commission from 2015-2023 and was Abilene Mayor from 2016-2017 and in 2021.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, step father (Jim Allen), brothers Ron and K. Wayne (Butch), brothers-in-law Gary Ashland and Chuck Eis and nieces Geri Eis and Victoria Ashland.

Dee is survived by her husband of the home, three children, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Kathy Ashland of Concordia, Kennda Eis of Milwaukee, WI, two brothers, Wallace (Pat) Cossel of Sheridan, WY, Terry (Karen) Cossel of Beatrice, NE .and numerous other relatives.

Dee was always busy. If she did not have work, she found it. She enjoyed working in the house, garden and even enjoyed weeding. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, crossword puzzles and etching glass. Because she often needed muscle and logistics, she required Bill’s help…whether he liked it or not. A project for DAR spawned a newfound and much-loved hobby of headstone restoration. She and Bill traveled across Kansas and Missouri restoring family headstones; cleaning and resetting the stones where needed. They even had broken stones repaired by professionals when the work was beyond their capabilities.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 19th at the St Andrews Catholic Church from 3pm-4:30pm followed by the rosary.

Funeral services are Monday, October 20 at 10am at the St Andrews Catholic Church, Abilene, KS followed by graveside services at St Joseph’s Cemetery. Immediately following, family and friends are invited to celebrate Dee’s life at a lunch at the St Andrew’s Parish Center.

Stephanie De-Ann Marshall

Kenneth “Kenny” Ray Crane, 79, a lifetime McPherson County resident, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.&nbsp;

He was born on June 14, 1946, in Salina, Kansas, the son of William Dolphy and Helen (Wiederstein) Crane. He was raised on a farm north of Galva, Kansas, and graduated from Galva High School.

Kenny worked as a truck driver and loved the open road. His routes took him across the country, including memorable trips to Alaska—where he was considered an ice-road trucker—as well as Arizona and New Mexico. After retiring from trucking, he returned to his roots and enjoyed farming until his health began to decline. He cherished the peace and beauty of country life, especially at his home in rural Roxbury, Kansas.

A passionate collector, Kenny had an impressive collection of miniature toy tractors and antique farm tractors. He treasured time with family, particularly during Thanksgiving gatherings, and was a proud and supportive uncle. He deeply valued his relationships with his nieces and took great joy in attending his great-niece and great-nephews activities, especially enjoying the college football games. Kenny attended New Hope Evangelical Church in McPherson.

He is survived by his sister, Kay (Darrell) Arthaud of Galva, KS; nieces, Kim (Shawn) Goering of McPherson, KS and Leesa (Heath) Schmidt of Galva, KS; great-niece &amp; great-nephews, Krystal Schwindt, Klayton Goering, Kollin Goering, Sylas Schmidt, and Sam Schmidt; great-great-nieces, Brodi and Emma; and three children, Wanda Hutson, Alan Crane, and Victoria Crane.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lynette Crane; and infant sister, Andrea Sue Crane.

Kenneth “Kenny” Ray Crane

Mrs. Madonna Jean Reynolds (née Miller), age 92, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, at Pine Village in Moundridge, Kansas. Her long and fulfilling life was marked by dedication to family, faith, and service to others.

Born on August 24, 1933, in Skidmore, Missouri, Madonna was the eldest child of Floyd and Kathryn Miller. She spent her early years in Iowa, beginning school in Elkhart Consolidated Schools in 1938 before continuing her education at Ankeny Consolidated Schools from 1946. She graduated from Ankeny Consolidated School in 1951. Her commitment to lifelong learning continued well into adulthood; in 1987 she earned an Associate of Arts degree from Barton County Community College to fulfill the requirements for her Adult Care Home Administrator license.

On September 16, 1953, Madonna was united in marriage to Everett Dean Reynolds at the Des Moines Valley Church of the Brethren in Ankeny, Iowa. They were married 63 years before Dean’s passing on July 5, 2017.

Madonna’s professional journey began at Meredith Publishing in Des Moines, Iowa. After moving to Kansas, she worked at McPherson College where she contributed her skills as a typist and editor to a book authored by her future daughter-in-law's grandfather—an early sign of the deep interweaving of her personal and professional lives.

In 1975, Madonna began working at The Cedars retirement and health care community in McPherson, Kansas. Starting as an administrative secretary, she transitioned to health care administrator by 1987—a position she held with distinction until her retirement in 1997. Her leadership and compassion left a lasting impact on residents and staff alike.

Even after retiring from full-time work, Madonna remained active and engaged with her community. She worked at The Buttonhole fabric and quilting store where she shared her love of sewing by teaching classes and helping others find joy in fabric arts.

Madonna was a woman of many talents and interests. A gifted seamstress and homemaker, she found joy in sewing and quilting projects that reflected both creativity and precision. She loved gardening and took pride in cultivating beauty around her home. Reading short stories, magazines, and newspapers kept her mind sharp and curious throughout her life. She also enjoyed traveling—exploring new places while always cherishing time spent at home with family or alone enjoying her hobbies.

Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. Raised in the Des Moines Valley Church of the Brethren near rural Elkhart, Iowa, she became an active member of the McPherson Church of the Brethren upon moving to Kansas in 1963. Her decades-long involvement reflected a deep commitment that guided her actions and relationships.

Madonna’s family was central to her life. She is lovingly remembered by her son Brian Reynolds and daughter-in-law Kristen Reynolds; son-in-law Gary French; grandchildren Greg (Colleen) French, Amy (Cody Deegan) French, Dan Reynolds, and Lindy (Mikayla Craver) Reynolds; brother David Miller; sister Barbara (Gary) Fry; sisters-in-law Sara Miller, and Dee Reynolds; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dean Reynolds; daughter Brenda French; parents Floyd and Kathryn Miller; brother Maury Miller; brother-in-law Fred Reynolds; sister-in-law Betty Romick and brother-in-law Ray Romick.

A come &amp; go celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the McPherson Church of the Brethren Social Room. The final resting place will be in McPherson Cemetery.

Alfred C. “Al” Reif was born on February 3, 1942 to Alfred A. and Clara (Polzin) Reif, and entered into heavenly rest on October 15, 2025, with his daughters by his side.

He was born in Hoisington, KS and raised primarily in Osborne, Kansas, graduating from Osborne High School in 1960. He enlisted in the Marine Corps, married Anne Gilmore in May 1964 and served in Vietnam as a mechanic. He remained active in the VFW, American Legion, and Marine Corp League throughout his life and was proud of his service to his country. He worked with veterans to ensure that they received the benefits they had earned and touched the lives of many. Al was a vital part of the Osborne community serving on the county commission, his parish council, and city council.

After residing in Bakersfield, CA; Lawrence, KS; Topeka, KS; and Owensville, MO, he and Anne returned home to Osborne in 1976 and began their refuse business, C &amp; R Sanitation. Al always went above and beyond in each aspect of his business. He sandblasted, welded, made dumpsters, repaired his trucks, and made sure that his routes were run with efficiency.

Al and Anne had 3 daughters, Anastasia, Allison, and Amy. He would give Anne most of the credit for raising them, but he was always there for important events, games, and teaching moments. He supported them even after they had left home by becoming involved in their children’s schools and activities.

He adored his grandchildren, Luke (Natusko) McDaneld, Sam McDaneld, Kelseigh (Elijah) Figgs, Ethan Figgs (Halie), Christopher Simmons, and Katherine Simmons and loved to visit them whenever he got the chance. It was even better when they would come to see him and explore the town where Papa Al lived. He never knew a stranger and was happy to talk to anyone and many remember him for his teasing and joking.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Anne; his parents, in-laws, and five of his siblings. He is loved and remembered by a host of family and friends.

John Francis Herbin, 73, of Jamestown, Kansas, passed away on October 13, 2025 after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. He was born on April 9, 1952, in Concordia, Kansas, to Armin John and Edith Marie (Nordhus) Herbin.

A lifelong resident of Jamestown, John graduated from Jamestown High School in 1970. He received his bachelor's degree from Kansas State University and later attended the University of Colorado School of Banking. Upon returning home, John proudly continued his family’s legacy as a third-generation banker at Jamestown State Bank, where he served his community with integrity and dedication until his retirement in 2019.

Above all, John was a devoted father to his four children — Jennifer, Heather, Erica, and Michael — who lovingly describe him as “the best dad,” their rock, steadfast and dependable, and someone they could always count on. He was loving, loyal and had an unwavering faith. A lifelong Catholic, he was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Jamestown and later a member of of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia.

John was deeply involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He rarely missed a sporting event and could always be found cheering from the sidelines. A proud K-State alumni and fan, he shared his love of the Wildcats with his family and friends. He was also an avid car enthusiast and collector, finding great joy in restoring and working on his cars.

John’s greatest joy came from his family. He will be dearly missed by his children: Jennifer Herbin Vickroy (Warren) of Warren, NJ; Heather Orenstein (Jeffrey) of Alexandria, VA; Erica Frazier (Erik) of Old Lyme, CT; and Michael Herbin (Jennifer) of Buda, TX. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Hannah, Jillian, Chloe, and Keaton “Teddy” Orenstein; Benedict and Bishop Frazier; and Reid and Bryce Herbin. He is also survived by his sisters: Jean Meis (Fred), Mary Horan (John), Ann Powell (Mike), and Margi Puckett (Duane), along with numerous nieces and nephews who adored him.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Armin John and Edith Herbin.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia, with a Rosary/Vigil Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. Family will be present to greet friends immediately following the Rosary/Vigil. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia, Kansas, on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with Father Joseph Kieffer officiating. A luncheon will follow the mass and then the burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Jamestown, KS.

Walter Francis McIntosh, age 88, passed away on Friday October 10, 2025 at the Smith Center Health &amp; Rehab Center in Smith Center, KS.&nbsp; He was born the son of George Walter &amp; Olivia (Sanders) McIntosh on September 25, 1937 in Hays, KS.&nbsp; He is survived by a sister Agnes Hammerschmidt of Hutchinson and 2 nephews.

Walter Francis McIntosh

Ann Burgess of Salina, Kansas, passed away on a beautiful fall day, October 5, 2025. Born on December 7, 1933, she lived most of her 91 years in Salina, surrounded by her large family and countless friends.

Ann graduated from Salina High School and the University of Kansas, where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She remained a faithful Jayhawk and always loved a football tailgate. Following KU, she lived and worked in Kansas City before returning to Salina to become a homemaker and raise her family.

An avid volunteer, she was a Girl Scout leader, an election poll worker, and a member of St. John’s Hospital Auxiliary, Salina Regional Health Center Auxiliary, and P.E.O., just to mention a few. Ann was a devout Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish, where she devoted numerous hours to helping with funeral lunches and perpetual adoration.

As her children grew up, Ann worked many jobs, her favorites being co-owner of a catering company, travel agent, and employee at Grigsby’s Greenhouse. She had numerous hobbies—playing tennis, bridge, gardening, and walking with friends—and for years enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and knitting. She loved to read, cook, and bake for her large family, and never missed her morning crossword puzzle. She also made time for traveling with family and friends. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Ann is survived by her four daughters, Julie Colahan (Jim), Marty Winkelman, Missy McCarthy (Kent), and Alison Brake (J.D.); and sisters, Janet Denning and Nancy Burns (Clark). Known as “Mamie” to her grandchildren and many others, she is also survived by her ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Burgess; parents, Mary Louise (Schwartz) and C.B. Dodge Jr.; and her sister, Kathy Burton.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28, at 1:00 p.m., with a rosary prior to the service at 12:30 p.m., at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Salina, with inurnment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Following the cemetery, there will be a continued celebration of Ann’s life at the Homewood Suites outdoor courtyard, 115 E. Mulberry Street. Ryan Mortuary is handling funeral arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Salina Public Library for Re-Imagining Our Library (301 W. Elm St., Salina, KS 67401) or the Sacred Heart Cathedral Ladies Guild (118 N. 9th St., Salina, KS 67401).

Dennis C. Woodall, M.D., was born November 13, 1955, in Salina, KS. He was a husband, dad, son, grandson, nephew, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and trusted physician.&nbsp;

Dennis Graduated from Salina South High in 1974. After High School, he enrolled at K-State as a Dane Hansen Scholar to study pre-medicine and statistics. While working on his master's in statistics, he was accepted to the KU School of Medicine in Kansas City. While at KSU, he was inducted into several honorary fraternities: Phi Eta Sigma, Alpha Epsilon Delta, and Phi Kappa Phi.

After Completing Residency in 1986, Dennis began his practice in Bennington, Kansas. After 3 years, he would move his practice to his hometown of Salina, where he continued his craft for over 30 years. He enjoyed all his patients, but he had a special fondness for his senior patients. He also served as the Volunteer Medical Director for Bennington, KS, for 30 years.

Dennis was united in marriage to Yvonne Anderes on March 5, 1994. They would welcome three daughters: Taylor, Alexis, and Emily. Dennis also has a son from a previous marriage, Kyle.

During his spare time away from his practice, he loved outdoor activities. Dennis' Uncles, Wayne and Walt, can be credited with creating a love for hunting and fishing that Dennis would carry with him throughout his life. Dennis also had a love for gardening, 4-H activities with his daughters, and attending his son’s football games.

Those who knew Dennis will remember him for his intellect, humble spirit, quick wit, jokes, and a storytelling ability that left so many people in fits of laughter.&nbsp; He will be loved and missed by so many who had the opportunity to be in his presence.

Dennis was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Alexis Christine, his parents, Burdette and Ruth (Sims) Woodall; his stepfather, Richard McRell; his in-laws, Vincent and Virginia Anderes; and brother-in-law, Bill Anderes.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Yvonne; son, Kyle Woodall; daughters, Taylor Woodall, and Emily (Dylan) Pickering and their daughter, Gracyn Ann expected in December; sister, Kim Woodall; McRell step-siblings, Larry (Sherilyn) McRell, Mike (Joann) McRell, Brian (Bridget) McRell, and Julie (Pete) Joynka; Anderes in-laws, Rhonda Foth, Greg(Sharon) Anderes, Diane(Rodney) Shoemaker, Kim (Kevin) Svoboda, Mark (Jill) Anderes, Mike Anderes, and Lisa Elliott; and many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

A memorial visitation will be held for family and friends from noon until 8 p.m. on both Sunday and Monday, October 26th and 27th, at the Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th, Salina. Private services for the family will occur at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, suggested memorials are the New Trail Fellowship in Abilene and St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Salina.

Ina Lee Garrison, age 89, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Park Villa Nursing Home in Clyde, Kansas.&nbsp;&nbsp;

From the start,&nbsp;Ina did things in a memorable way, born during a record-breaking heat wave on August 23, 1936, to Leon "Lefty" and Evelina (Forgue) Courville in Concordia, Kansas. She was also welcomed by her two older brothers, Moe and Donnie. As a child, Ina enjoyed playing "Kick the Can" with Dorothy and the rest of the neighborhood children. She loved having her hair washed at the Palace Barbershop where Lefty worked, and shopping at Bon Marche.&nbsp;

Ina graduated from Concordia Catholic High School and then worked as a service representative for Southwestern Bell. She had a spirit of adventure, driving to New York City with her friend Leatha May and to Atlantic City to see the Miss America pageant. According to local sources, she was hand-picked to be a chaperone for a class’s Senior Sneak to Colorado. She also enjoyed spending time at the local sand pit, boating and water skiing, where she met her future husband.

Ina married Dale Garrison on June 24, 1961, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia. Together, they raised four children in Concordia, continued traveling occasionally, and provided countless memories for their children and grandchildren during time spent at Lovewell Lake. Possibly because of those four children, Ina got out of the house to pursue a variety of interests such as bowling, singing in the church choir, and forming life-long friendships with her “sisters” of Phi Beta Epsilon sorority. She and Dale also hosted great parties and loved playing cards or a night out at the Elks Club with Jack and Sue, Willie and Don, Opal and numerous other friends.

Once the children were grown, Ina spent time volunteering to work at local elections, gave blood, serving on the Parish Council and Hospital Auxiliary committees, and countless other causes. She was always generous about offering her time, resources and opinions to things that mattered to her. She also returned to the workforce, as an insurance billing clerk for Pawnee Mental Health and then as a clerk at the Catholic Thrift Shop. She kept a lovely home and yard and was quite particular about details.

In 2011, Dale and Ina moved to Clyde, KS, where Ina became a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Ina was preceded in death by her husband Dale, her parents, Lefty and Evelina, brother, Elmo Courville, and 2 infant brothers, Ansel and Joseph.

She is survived by four children, Tara Garrison, Noel Garrison, David (Stephanie) Garrison, and Amy Hensler (Ben), along with her seven grandchildren, Brock (Darci) Boling, Blake Boling, Brennan Boling, Grayson and McKenzie Hensler, Devin (John) Michaletti, and Colby Garrison. She is also survived by four great-grandsons, Graham, Nash and Knox Boling, Jack Michaletti, her brother, Don (Johnita) Courville, and sister-in-law, Roberta Courville, and several nieces and nephews. Ina will be remembered by her family for her committment to providing them with magical Christmas celebrations, fun Birthday parties and an ever-present concern for their happiness and enjoyment of life. She gave so much, from back scratches to baking pumpkin bread, to paying for trips. All with love.

 </figure>Ina Lee Garrison, age 89, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Park Villa Nursing Home in Clyde, Kansas.&nbsp;&nbsp;From the start,&nbsp;Ina did things in a memorable way, born during a record-breaking heat wave on August 23, 1936, to Leon "Lefty" and Evelina (Forgue) Courville in Concordia, Kansas. She was also welcomed by her two older brothers, Moe and Donnie. As a child, Ina enjoyed playing "Kick the Can" with Dorothy and the rest of the neighborhood children. She loved having her hair washed at the Palace Barbershop where Lefty worked, and shopping at Bon Marche.&nbsp;Ina graduated from Concordia Catholic High School and then worked as a service representative for Southwestern Bell. She had a spirit of adventure, driving to New York City with her friend Leatha May and to Atlantic City to see the Miss America pageant. According to local sources, she was hand-picked to be a chaperone for a class’s Senior Sneak to Colorado. She also enjoyed spending time at the local sand pit, boating and water skiing, where she met her future husband.Ina married Dale Garrison on June 24, 1961, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia. Together, they raised four children in Concordia, continued traveling occasionally, and provided countless memories for their children and grandchildren during time spent at Lovewell Lake. Possibly because of those four children, Ina got out of the house to pursue a variety of interests such as bowling, singing in the church choir, and forming life-long friendships with her “sisters” of Phi Beta Epsilon sorority. She and Dale also hosted great parties and loved playing cards or a night out at the Elks Club with Jack and Sue, Willie and Don, Opal and numerous other friends.Once the children were grown, Ina spent time volunteering to work at local elections, gave blood, serving on the Parish Council and Hospital Auxiliary committees, and countless other causes. She was always generous about offering her time, resources and opinions to things that mattered to her. She also returned to the workforce, as an insurance billing clerk for Pawnee Mental Health and then as a clerk at the Catholic Thrift Shop. She kept a lovely home and yard and was quite particular about details.In 2011, Dale and Ina moved to Clyde, KS, where Ina became a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.Ina was preceded in death by her husband Dale, her parents, Lefty and Evelina, brother, Elmo Courville, and 2 infant brothers, Ansel and Joseph.She is survived by four children, Tara Garrison, Noel Garrison, David (Stephanie) Garrison, and Amy Hensler (Ben), along with her seven grandchildren, Brock (Darci) Boling, Blake Boling, Brennan Boling, Grayson and McKenzie Hensler, Devin (John) Michaletti, and Colby Garrison. Ina will be remembered by her family for her committment to providing them with magical Christmas celebrations, fun Birthday parties and an ever-present concern for their happiness and enjoyment of life. Randall Lynn Pedersen, 75, of Salina, passed away surrounded by those who loved him on October 8, 2025. He was born in Salina, Kansas, to Melvin Sr. and Velma (Weathers) Pedersen.

Randall married Toni Dunkel on July 26, 1970, in Salina. He graduated from Salina High School in 1968.

Randall and Toni were the proud owners of R&amp;R Enterprises and RanTon Specialties, enjoying many years working side by side. Randall loved traveling to Waynoka, Oklahoma with Toni, Chris, and Friends, to camp and drive through the sand dunes. Randall also raced at Salina Speedway in the mini stock for years, and dwarf cars across Kansas and Missouri. He helped support other racers and especially enjoyed helping with mini sprints, dirt bikes and ATVs. Following Randall’s passion for racing he also raced R.C. cars. Randall enjoyed tinkering with motorcycles, four-wheelers, and anything with a motor. He also had a deep love for classic cars—owning several vintage models—and attended every car show he could. Later in life, his family would push his wheelchair from car to car, making sure he could take photos from every angle and spend time talking with the owners for hours.

In recent years, Randall began playing online games, sparking a new passion and leading to many new friendships around the world.

Randall was preceded in death by his wife Toni Diane (Dunkel) Pedersen and his parents Melvin Sr. and Velma Pedersen.

He is survived by his brother Melvin Jr. (Georgiann) Pedersen; Randy’s chosen son Chris Humphries (Christy Fox); and an abundance of cousins.

Randall will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday October 17, 2025, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, KS. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday October 18, 2025, at Roselawn Cemetery, Salina, KS.

Gwendolyn “Gwen” Trost, age 85, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Credo Senior Living, Belleville, KS.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was born on July 17, 1940 in Cuba, KS to Glenn &amp; Adeline (Homolka) Chizek.

She received her GED and was part of the Class of 1958 in Concordia.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was a bookkeeper for Boogaarts and later Walker Veterinary Clinic.&nbsp;

She married Thomas “Tom” Trost on July 12, 1980 in Concordia, KS. He preceded her in death on April 3, 2011.&nbsp;

Gwen was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #76 Ladies Auxiliary for over 60 years.&nbsp;&nbsp;She served as State Auxiliary President, District President, Unit President, assisted heavily with Girls State and held several other offices throughout her volunteer time.&nbsp;&nbsp;

She is survived by her daughter, Rhodonna Marcotte (Kenneth), Holden, MO; sister, Christine Reed, Donna TX and grandchildren, Jay Marcotte, Brian Marcotte (Fallon), Steven McGinley (Mandy) and Jamie May (Aaron) and 3 great grandchildren.&nbsp;

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; daughter, Kimberly McGinley &amp; brother, Keith Chizek.&nbsp;

Marion "Pat" Masko of Salina, Kansas passed away peacefully Saturday, September 26, 2025 in Minneapolis, Kansas at Minneapolis Health and Rehabilitation, where he had been a resident for the past 5 ½ months.

Pat served in the US Navy and was a professional truck driver for over 50 years, receiving many safe driving awards. He met and later married Juanita Faelber on September 18,1982.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Anna Masko, brother Richard, step-daughter Christine Short and her son James of Carnegie, Pennsylvania.

Survived by wife Juanita of the home and her three sons from a previous marriage, Greg Faelber, Jim Faelber, Salina, Kansas. Brad (Tammy) Faelber, North Glen, Colorado.&nbsp;

Six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Siblings: Kathy, Masko of Carnegie, Pennsylvania. Brother Alan, Missouri.&nbsp; Sister-in-law Mary Jo Masko Carnegie, Pennsylvania.

Donald “Gene” Hubert, 92 years of age, was born on October 13, 1932, to Olie and Ione Phillips Hubert in Haviland, KS. Gene left this world peacefully on September 28, 2025, in McPherson, KS.

Gene attended school in Greensburg, KS, and graduated from Greensburg High School in 1950. He enlisted in the US Army and served from April 1, 1953, to March 18, 1955, stationed in Germany.

While on-leave during his Army service, Gene was united in marriage to Marilyn Hart on February 7, 1954. They enjoyed 59 years of happiness together until Marilyn’s death in 2013.

During high school, and again after he returned from his service duty, Gene worked for JS Dillon and Sons Food Stores.&nbsp; He started his employment as soon as they would hire him as a young lad…candling eggs!&nbsp; He sacked and carried out groceries, and then as a young adult, moved into the meat department as a butcher.&nbsp; Early in his career with Dillons, he and Marilyn were transferred to Hays, KS; then to Hutchinson, KS; then back to Hays; and finally, on to McPherson.&nbsp; He managed the meat departments in both Hays and McPherson and then topped things off by becoming the Store Manager of both stores in McPherson during his career.&nbsp; All the while, he and Marilyn also managed to produce a child at each of the three stops along the journey to McPherson!

Following retirement from Dillons after 35 years, Gene served the role of Club Manager for The McPherson Country Club.&nbsp; Marilyn also worked alongside him there.&nbsp; Following that, Gene and Marilyn split their retirement days living between Bella Vista, AR, and Lake Havasu, AZ.&nbsp; Gene returned to his old stomping grounds of McPherson following Marilyn’s death.

Gene’s life-long hobby and passion was playing golf with his buddies and with Marilyn.&nbsp; He also passed the sport on to his sons, Rick and Rod.&nbsp; Gene probably played more rounds of golf than could possibly be recorded.&nbsp; And he was also the master of the “ace”, knocking in double-digit holes-in-one over his years of play!!&nbsp; It truly was a legendary accomplishment…but somehow the aces continued to grow in number long after he set his golf clubs aside!&nbsp; Gene literally drove that little white ball around the pasture until he unfortunately lost the majority of his eyesight to macular degeneration.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Olie and Ione Hubert, and his two sisters, Joyce Keith and Gladys Williams. Gene was also preceded in death by the love of his life, wife, Marilyn Hart Hubert, and grandson, Jacob Hubert.

Survivors include his children: &nbsp;Pam Lies (Steve) of McPherson, KS; Rick Hubert (Mary) of Overland Park, KS; and Rod Hubert (Deborah) of Lee’s Summit, MO. Surviving grandchildren include Mindy (Lies) Allen, Lindsay (Lies) Holmes, Nicole (Hubert) Wickoren, Nathan Hubert, and Collin Hubert. Great-grandchildren include Carter, Asher and Hayden Allen; Tyler and Caysen Holmes; Naia and Irelyn Wickoren; Judah, Micah and Daniel Hubert; Isabelle Hubert Comer; &nbsp;and Poppy Hubert.

Andre “Dre” Curtis Hull, 43, of Salina, KS, passed away Wednesday, October 8th, 2025 after a battle with heart disease, surrounded by his mother, sisters, partner Michelle Allen, and dear friends Joe Reinert, Trevor Rains, and Chris Heald. He was born on February 16th, 1982 in Salina, the son of Emmitt Curtis Hull, Jr. and Brenda (Burch) Hull.&nbsp;

Andre, like his father Emmitt, could speak to anyone. They never knew a stranger. If you knew Andre, you loved him and valued ever the present smile that alit his face. He was always full of jokes, loved to banter, and had the most infectious laugh. Andre brought joy, fun, and a playful spirit to all he did.&nbsp;

Andre graduated from Salina Central High School in 2000. He spent his career working in the landscaping and service industries. He was an avid sports lover, who relished watching and playing all sports. His love for baseball started at a very young age when his father, Emmitt, coached Andre and all of his friends in youth leagues. Andre eventually played for a traveling baseball team for many years. He was a natural athlete and excelled at every sport he played.&nbsp;

Andre loved the Chicago Cubs and also had a place in his heart for KU and the Chiefs. He was fiercely competitive and loved the challenge that any new game would bring. Many a video game controller met its demise after particularly tough Madden losses (or, if his sister, Dayna happened to beat him).&nbsp;

He was a natural athlete and excelled at every sport he played.&nbsp;Andre loved the Chicago Cubs and also had a place in his heart for KU and the Chiefs. He was fiercely competitive and loved the challenge that any new game would bring. Many a video game controller met its demise after particularly tough Madden losses (or, if his sister, Dayna happened to beat him).&nbsp;He was preceded in death by his father, Emmitt Curtis Hull, Jr., in 2011, his grandfather Emmitt Curtis Hull, Sr., his grandmother Berniece Hull, cousin, Anna Hull, two aunts, Patricia Hull and Janet Hull, and an uncle Robert Hull.&nbsp;He is survived by his partner Michelle Allen of Salina, a daughter Jorah Hull of Arkansas City, KS, his mother Brenda Hull of Salina, two sisters, Dayna Hull and partner Dan Dutcher of Lawrence, KS, and Tamara Clement and husband Todd of Tampa, KS, numerous aunts and cousins, and a multitude of friends.&nbsp;The funeral will be at 1 PM on Saturday, October 18th, at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E.
