Carolyn Marie (Bradbury) Nading, 88, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born April 17, 1934, in Welch, Oklahoma, the daughter of Hosea and Bessie (McCrery) Bradbury. Carolyn was united in marriage to John Leander Nading, Jr. on June 1, 1952 in Altamont, Kansas. While John went to Korea, Carolyn became a graduate of Labette County Community High School with the class of 1953. Carolyn and John started their married life in Coffeyville, Kansas, later moving to Wichita and then to Moundridge in 1972. Carolyn was the Moundridge City Clerk for 25 years, from 1972 to 1997. She was a member of the Moundridge United Methodist Church and was Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star Chapter in McPherson during the 1970s and 1980s. An avid fisherwoman, Carolyn earned the nickname of “Lucky”, as she always caught the most and biggest fish! Carolyn is survived by her husband John of their home; her children Karl Nading and his wife Carol of Wichita; Audrey Diederich and her husband Pat of McPherson, John Nading, III of Moundridge, Keryl Christian and her husband John of Hutchinson, and Sharon Saylor and her husband Lonnie of Hutchinson; brothers Floyd (Valerie) Bradbury, Florida, Robert (Alice) Bradbury, Missouri, and Douglas (Marge) Bradbury, Louisianna; sisters Judy (Gary) McGuinnes, Topeka, and Rosemary Sandy, Florida; grandchildren Andrew Nading, Emma Lauer, Nic Winsky, Adam Winsky, Rusty Winsky, Gina Wedel, Rachelle Nading, Heather Jordan, Alexandria Danks, Angela Saylor, Rebecca Stoker, and Lucas Saylor; and 18 great-grandchildren. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Hosea “Jack”, and Clyde; and sister Betty. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Moundridge United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Mound Township Cemetery, Moundridge, Kansas. Friends may pay their respects to Carolyn from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 8th with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Anita Ingrid Neilson, 62, passed away on August 4th, 2022 at her home in Lindsborg, Kansas. 

Anita was born in Freemont, Nebraska to Astrida and Uldis Cepure on March 1st, 1960. 

As the second daughter of a pastor, Anita moved frequently with her family throughout her early years and attended many schools throughout the country. She attended Northwestern University for several years before following her mother to New York City to pursue a career as a pianist and model. Notably, in the 1980s, she studied privately with Dr. William Phemister and Dr. Lambert Dahlsten at Julliard School of Music, performed as a soloist for Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra, appeared on the Joey Adams Show, and performed at Café Versailles. 

In addition to her passion for music, Anita loved to travel. She visited Sweden and Jamaica, performing aboard cruise ships, and eventually ventured to Steamboat Springs, a small ski town in the mountains of Colorado, where she married Barry Alan Gross and had three children. 

Suffering from poor health, Anita moved to Lindsborg, Kansas to be closer to her mother. She worked as an accompanist at Smoky Valley High School and the Lindsborg Trinity United Methodist Church and additionally performed at the Swedish Crown and Vasa. 

Anita is survived by her son Barry Gross; daughter Sarah Bregman; and grandchildren Kaya, Timothy, and Daphne. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Uldis Cepure and Astrida Neilson-Berrios; daughter Brittany Gross; sister Daina Rhoads; brother David Cepure. 

A funeral service will be held for friends and family at Crick-Christians Funeral Home on Sunday, Septemeber 4th at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dallas Peterson of Lindsborg Trinity United Methodist Church. 

Inurnment and committal will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg.

Tony was a graduate of CCCHS class of 1966.&nbsp; He married Barbara Moody on July 1, 1967.&nbsp; Tony worked for Oetinger Lloyd Construction, Simmons Construction, Chester-Brown Beams and at the Steve Peterson hog farm.&nbsp; He was a member of the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and was a member of the Volunteer Fire Department at Gering, NE. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson Trevor; sisters Philomena Straub, Barbara Straub, Louise Hoffett, Dorothy Lyons; brothers Arthur, Raphael, Delfield and Al Straub. Butter, butter, butter.

Keith U. Kauer of Concordia, KS, formerly of North Kansas City, MO passed away on September 1, 2022 at the age of 86. Keith was born on May 16, 1936 to Cline E. And Gertrude E. (Magnusson) Kauer on a farmstead north of Courtland, KS. 

He was the youngest of four siblings and was preceded in death by sister Yvonne, and brothers Darrell and Robert Kauer. 

After attending several schools in the Wichita, KS area, he graduated from Formoso, KS High School in May of 1953.

Keith's work years were spent at Boeing in Wichita, United States Air Force in Alaska, Pan American Airways in Alaska and San Francisco. 

He entered Kansas State College in Pittsburg and received his BS in the summer of 1969. 

He was then hired by the Metroplitan Community Colleges (MCC) in Kansas City,&nbsp; MO and continued his professional career until retiring in 1995. During this period, he started and taught Aviation Maintenance Technology at the Maple Woods Campus, served as liaison between MCC, architects, and construction teams during completion of permanent facilities at Maple Woods and Longview, supervised the evening and weekend college, security and the physical plant at the Blue Springs Campus.&nbsp; 

He earned his MS and Ed.D degrees from the University of Missouri in Columbia.&nbsp; 

He was past president of the MCC Chapter of the American Association of University Professors and the Blue Springs Evening Rotary Club. Keith was also a member of the North Kansas City Breakfast Club.

Keith is survived by daughters Loretta Curran of Kansas City, MO and Juliana Kauer of Concordia, KS; grandchildren Kyle (Bridget) Sharp, Brett Sharp, Michelle (Justin) Kieslich, Meghan (Rich) Adams and William (Callie) Curran; great-grandchildren Bailey, Kailyn and Brynley Sharp, Jackson Sharp, Vera and Julian Kieslich, Mila Adams and Kaiden Cassidy, Devlin and Killian Curran.

Cremation is being arranged by Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia, KS with a celebration of life to be planned at a later date.

Karen Joan Anderson, 74, of McPherson, KS, formerly of Scottsdale, AZ and Lindsborg, KS, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS.&nbsp; 

On April 30, 2021, she retired from Walters Optometry where she was the office manager.

Karen was born on February 14, 1948, in McPherson, KS, the daughter of Leon and Ruth Josephine (Clark) Jantz.&nbsp; She graduated from Galva High School and was May Day Queen.

On December 17, 1971, Karen was united in marriage to Loren “Andy” L. Anderson in Miami, OK.&nbsp; They were married for 50 years before his passing on December 21, 2021.

Survivors include: three sons, Kevin Anderson (Lori) of McPherson, KS, Keith Anderson of St. George, UT, and Tony Adams (Angie) of Hays, KS; a brother, Gary Jantz (Debbe) of Newton, KS; six grandchildren, Colton Anderson (Parker), Tyson Anderson (Nicole), Aaron Anderson (Rachel), Travis Anderson (Rhoni), Colton Adams, and Dakota Adams; five great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Merlyn Jantz, and sister Myreta Koehn.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2022, at Countryside Covenant Church with Pastor Jon Black officiating.&nbsp; A private family graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, September 9, at New Gottland Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Richard Leroy Taylor “Dick”, 84, of Miltonvale gained his heavenly wings on August 30, 2022, at his daughter’s home in Minneapolis, KS after a short bout with cancer.

Dick was born June 7, 1938, in Oak Hill to George Washington Taylor and Myrtle Sophie (Lindquist) Taylor, the third of four boys. 

He worked for Skinners Chevrolet then later for the Mobil station, mostly delivering fuel to farmers via the tank wagon. He appreciated farming and raising cattle on the land that two previous generations farmed. Dick was an exceptional mechanic and could fix almost anything. He enjoyed restoring old Ford tractors, volunteering with the fire department (in his younger years) and was great pool player.

He married Elaine LaVoie August 16, 1959. Two children were born to this union, Pamela Ann (Taylor) Harder and Kevan Todd Taylor. They later divorced. He married Elsie Malik May 26, 1976, and together they had one son, Richard Leroy Taylor, Jr. “Richie”.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Chester, Warren, and Larry Taylor, and his wife Elsie. 

He is survived by his three children, Pam (Kent) Harder of Minneapolis, Kevan Taylor of Colby, and Richie Taylor of Oak Hill, grandchildren Tiffany (Brett) Speaks of Prairie Village, Brandon Harder of Minneapolis, and Torey (Tera) Taylor of Shawnee, great-grandchildren Ryan Harder, Bradley Speaks and Kate Speaks.

Services will be held at Phelps Funeral Home, Miltonvale, KS on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Phelps Funeral Home.

Art’s life began on October 31, 1940, in Herington. He was the son of Sal and Adelia (Albrecht) Schlesener. 

Art was a 1958 graduate of Herington High School. 

He served his country in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965. Art worked as a civilian contractor at Fort Riley for 33 years. He also painted houses in the area for many years. He was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

 Art is survived by his son Tad and his wife Tricia Schlesener of El Dorado, his niece Jarolyn (David) Geist; great nieces Amy Chapman and Amber Howells; great-great nieces and nephews Riana, Gavin, Bowan, Elena, and Jaren. &nbsp;

Art passed away on August 29, 2022, at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Larry Schlesener; sister Lola (Schlesener) Atkinson. 

His family will gather with friends on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Sunset Hill Cemetery for his graveside service with military honors led by Pastor Bill Newman.

Dave’s life began on September 21, 1955, in Florence.&nbsp; He was the son of Harold M. and Lois (Weyand) Huntley.&nbsp; 

Dave is a graduate of Marion/Florence High School.&nbsp; 

In his younger years, Dave loved to go skiing with his buddies at Marion Co. Lake.&nbsp; He was a pheasant and quail hunter and enjoyed fishing.&nbsp; Dave enjoyed motocross racing as a young man and had fun playing softball.&nbsp; 

He was united in marriage to Erin Miller on January 15, 1991, at the Florence Christian Church, and they enjoyed 31 years of marriage.&nbsp; 

Dave was nearly always employed in law enforcement after working a short time in his younger years at Hesston Manufacturing.&nbsp; He was the Chief of Police in Florence and served Marion County as a deputy sheriff from February of 1985 to April of 1987 and again from January 2009 until his retirement in June of 2021.&nbsp; Dave also served with the Harvey County Sheriff from April of 1987 until February of 2008.&nbsp; 

Dave is survived by his wife Erin Huntley, sons Brandon Lee (Elizabeth) Huntley and David Huntley; siblings Jack (Geri) Huntley, and Kris (Galen) Hysom; sister-in-law Lola Huntley and several nieces and nephews.&nbsp; 

Dave passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Via Christi St Francis Hospital in Wichita.&nbsp; 

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Mike Huntley.&nbsp; 

Dave’s family will gather with friends on Saturday September 3, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Valley United Methodist Church for his memorial service led by Pastor Ron DeVore.&nbsp; He will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery, Florence at a later date.&nbsp; 

Yazel Megli Funeral Home, Marion is serving the family.&nbsp; 

Memorial contributions in Dave’s name may be directed to the Marion Co. Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit in care of the funeral home.&nbsp;

Linda’s life began on May 31, 1952, in Salina, KS. She was the daughter of Lester Eugene Geissert and Bertie (Biles) Hood and stepfather Loren Hood. 

Linda was united in marriage to John Zeiner on September 18, 2004, at Herington Lake. 

Linda and John were the owners and operators of J and L Tire in Herington for many years. They were active supporters of Herington Hearts Core Community. 

Linda is survived by her children Colleen (Chris) Garr of Lost Springs, Derek (Tonya) Summers of Herington and Jeff Summers of Herington; her brothers; Gene, Lanny, and Bruce Geissert; and her sister Rose Bayes; her&nbsp; grandchildren Linda, Christopher, Christina, and Johnathan Garr, and Austin Summers; great-grandchildren Remington, Donald, Cherokee and Edward. 

Linda passed away at her home on Tuesday August 30, 2022, surrounded by her family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John, granddaughter Angel Summers and two brothers, Bud and Leo Geissert. 

The family will remember Linda privately with no public services.

Salvatore “Sal” Attanasio was born October 21, 1952 on Long Island, New York and died August 25, 2022.

He loved growing up on the island near the Great South Bay clamming, surfing and would make us hungry telling us about all the fresh seafood he not only caught, but sold and enjoyed with his family.

After high school in West Islip he moved to Lindsborg, Kansas, and graduated with honors from Bethany College. He loved the wide open spaces of Kansas.

In 1974 after graduation he married Robin Plowman and they moved to Manhattan, Kansas, where he earned a master’s degree and then worked for the Kansas Department of Agriculture for 30 years.

His favorite pastime was watching hummingbirds at his feeders and the bluebirds raising their families in the houses he had built.

Left with broken hearts and many more tears to shed are his wife of 48 years, Robin; his daughter Jamie Attanasio (Troy Balgie), of Houston, Texas; son Sam Attanasio and his wife Julie, and his amazing granddaughter Maya of Northville, Michigan. He not only was proud of and loved his children but genuinely liked them.

He was not ready to go, and we were not ready to lose him. We will forever miss him!

He loved the wide open spaces of Kansas.In 1974 after graduation he married Robin Plowman and they moved to Manhattan, Kansas, where he earned a master’s degree and then worked for the Kansas Department of Agriculture for 30 years.His favorite pastime was watching hummingbirds at his feeders and the bluebirds raising their families in the houses he had built.Left with broken hearts and many more tears to shed are his wife of 48 years, Robin; his daughter Jamie Attanasio (Troy Balgie), of Houston, Texas; son Sam Attanasio and his wife Julie, and his amazing granddaughter Maya of Northville, Michigan. He not only was proud of and loved his children but genuinely liked them.He was not ready to go, and we were not ready to lose him. Jean Adele Gardner, 97, of Salina, KS, passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2022. 

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years A.V. and her son Alan. 

She leaves behind her daughters Elaine Parrent (Oklahoma City) and Janet Vanderbilt (Bill) of Salina, two granddaughters Stacee McMahon (Paul) Phoenix, AZ and Amanda Olivier (Brent) Loveland, CO, two great-grandchildren Cooper and Delainey Olivier, three stepgrandchildren, five stepgreat-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild on the way, and Sweetie Pie her beloved dog.

Jean Sperau graduated from McGaheysville High School in McGaheysville, VA on June 3, 1940. She married A.V. Gardner June 16, 1942, in Port Republic, VA. They moved to Salina, KS in 1952 to open Mid-States Armature Works.

Jean’s love of sports started with her foundation as an athlete, playing several sports in high school and even winning State with her basketball team.&nbsp; Throughout the year you could always find a ball game on, either Jeans’ cherished Royals, her favorite KU Jayhawks, or the Kansas City Chiefs.&nbsp; Jean was active in bowling leagues, played bridge for years and enjoyed golfing at the Elks as often as she could. &nbsp;

If you were lucky enough to have a meal at Jean’s, then you knew what an amazing cook she was. Her fried chicken and Spritz cookies were legendary and no one could resist her pimento cheese. Jean was also an avid doll collector, loving Dolls by Jeri and Madam Alexander. She proudly displayed her ever-expanding collection.

Jean, or better known as Grandma Jean,’s most important passion was her family. She was kind, patient and loved to spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything in the world. Christmases and birthdays were lavish; everyone’s favorite treats were in abundance, and the door was always open with a big hug waiting on the other side.

The service will be held Saturday September 3, 2022, 10 a.m. at Ryan Mortuary and will be officiated by Rev. Marvin Simmers, Avondale Estates, GA, Jean’s nephew.

Terry Susan Mansur, 71, of Salina, died peacefully on Saturday, August 27th at Legacy at Salina. She was born in Arlington, Virginia, November 15, 1950 to Elbert Mansur and Thelma Helen (Lyons) Enright. Having spent her early years in Europe; she retained a fondness for the culture and always considered Frankfurt, Germany her “hometown.” Terry’s family relocated to New York and then to Greenwich, Connecticut where she graduated from Greenwich High School in 1969.

 She attended several colleges such as Simpson College and Drake University briefly, focusing on social work. A firm believer in the principles of the peace movement that embodied her generation, Terry joined the Catholic Worker Community of Des Moines, Iowa for several years to work with the homeless and hungry. She also advocated for battered women and sexual assault survivors. 

Terry moved to Salina in 1987 to be close to family and worked as a phlebotomist, personal assistant, and homecare provider. Her family was always her first priority. Survivors include her four children, Erin Mansur, EJ Smith (Tammy), Emery Diercks (Doug), and Elice Smith. She also has four grandchildren, Erika Fain (Nicholas), Alex-Mary Cosco, Nathaniel Cosco and Gabriel Smith; two sisters, Thea Todd (Greg) and Jane Tryvanian and dear friend of the family and caretaker, Claudia Marshall. Charles O. Meece, 92, of Michigan City, Indiana, formerly of Salina, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022.&nbsp;&nbsp; He was born December 22, 1929, in Gillespie, Illinois.

He served in the military for 12 years, doing two tours in Korea.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Martha J. (Hildreth) Meece, and his two beloved wives Yvonne J. Meece and Mary E. Meece, one sister, and six brothers.

Survivors include his wife; Mae Meece, his son Timothy Meece and his wife Debbie, one brother; six sisters, one grandson; and five great-grandchildren.

Life Sketch Taken from the Funeral Bulletin Rosella went into the arms of her Lord and Savior surrounded by family on August 24th, 2022.

Rosella, the daughter of Rev. Roy P. Carpenter and Lady Alice Carpenter (Rollman) began her remarkable journey, born in rural Dover, MN on the family farm all while in the midst of a cyclone. Oldest of four children, her siblings included Paul (Faye), Ruth Ubben (D) (Arnold) and Juanita Hahn (D) (Samuel).

Rosella's early life found her family moving to the Espanola Valley and the Sangre De Cristo mountains of rural New Mexico where her father, Rev. Roy P. Carpenter, was a missionary to the local diverse population of this rural area. At an early age, she would attend her father at preaching circuits throughout the mountains and other rural parts of New Mexico.

Rosella later attended York College in York, Nebraska where she would not only receive her bachelor's of science in chemistry, but would also meet her future husband of 52-years, Rev. Robert J. Patenaude, Sr. 

Throughout her professional adult life, Rosella would be a preacher's wife, church secretary and general office work admin. 

Personally, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, wife, prayer warrior and friend. Rosella loved to regularly attend church and bible studies. She also enjoyed reading, quilting, art and was a musician and vocalist, too. In her later years she enjoyed traveling, annually making quite the trek across many states to visit family and friends. 

While Rosella has left us on earth and we dearly miss her, we rejoice and celebrate in knowing she has finally, after 93-long, well-lived years, made it home in the presence of our Lord and reunited with those who've passed before her.

Rosella is preceded in death by Rev. Robert J. Patenaude, Sr., sisters Ruth Ubben and Juanita Hahn and great-grandchild Joseph Edward Luce (Joey Bear). Rosella is survived by three children, Robert Patenaude, Jr. of Ridgecrest, Ca, Phyllis Richert (Ed) of Hillsboro, KS Annette Klamm (Dennis) of Hillsboro, KS, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Survivors include son Robert Patenaude Jr. of Ridgecrest, California; daughters Phyllis (Ed) Richert of Hillsboro, Annette (Dennis) Klamm of Hillsboro; brother, Paul (Fay) Carpenter of Mississippi; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Life Sketch taken from the Funeral Bulletin Charles Moffett Caudell, of Hillsboro, Kansas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2022 in his home at the age&nbsp;of 84.

Charles was born the son of John and Wilma Caudell in Buffalo, KS on October 9th, 1937. His family lived and worked on the Ecco Ranch west of Buffalo. 

Charles went to grade school in Buffalo and Yates Center for high school. There he met his high school sweetheart Janis Mathews and they were soon marrie after graduating high school. 

Charles took a job with the Pet Milk Company in Iola, KS where they soon moved to and started their family. 

Mark and Craig were born in 1958 and 1960 approximately two years after moving to Iola. Todd was born in 1962 around the same time Charles was laid off from the Pet Milk Co. He started driving west in search of a new career and accepted a job offer with the Gas Service Co. in Newton, Kansas, the town they would soon call home. Three short years later, his daughter Tina was born in 1965. 

He made a lifetime career of working for the Gas Service Co. in Newton starting out on the crew digging ditches and after 36 years of hard work, he earned the title of vice president of field operations at retirement. After his divorce from Janis Caudell, he later remarried to Nancy Hett on October 3rd, 2002 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.&nbsp;Charles then gained four more children by marriage: Dennis Britton (Linda) of Newton, Juli Wilson (Rick) of Salina, Lori Nisbeth (GR) of Abilene, and Devin Kelsey (Jaime) of Salina. They lived happily ever after at their home in Hillsboro Kansas. They would have been married 20 years this October.

Chuck loved spending time with family, friends, and neighbors, working in his garden, fishing, hunting, pulling pranks, and kicking it back in his easy chair. He made such an impact on everyone he met, shared his strong faith in the Lord, and never hesitated to help someone out. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by his loved ones. Survivors include his wife Nancy Caudell of Hillsboro, Kansas and their eight children; grandchildren Chelsey (Scott),&nbsp;Lyndsee, Ryan (Justine), Desiree (Matt), Kali (Blake), Kati (Dustin), Heather, DJ, Crystal, Kevin, Eric, Jeremy, Jandee, Devyn,&nbsp;Tiffany, Kody, Christopher, Justin, Austin, Toby, and Kamryn; and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Bill Pennington, brother Jake Caudell, sister Elaine Brooks, brother Sheldon Caudell; grandson Cory Caudell; and son-in-law Matthew Ast.&nbsp; &nbsp;

He married Nancy Myers October 3, 2002 at Eureka Springs, Arkansas. 

Survivors include: wife Nancy Caudell of Hillsboro; sons Mark (Gail) Caudell of Claremore, Oklahoma; Craig Caudell of Newton, Todd Caudell of Severy, Kansas; daughter Tina Ast of Belle Plain, Kansas; sister Shirley Driskill of Neodesha, Kansas; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. 

Predeceased by a son-in-law, Matt Ast in 2019.

Charles was born the son of John and Wilma Caudell in Buffalo, KS on October 9th, 1937. His family lived and worked on the Ecco Ranch west of Buffalo. Charles went to grade school in Buffalo and Yates Center for high school. There he met his high school sweetheart Janis Mathews and they were soon marrie after graduating high school. Charles took a job with the Pet Milk Company in Iola, KS where they soon moved to and started their family. Mark and Craig were born in 1958 and 1960 approximately two years after moving to Iola. Todd was born in 1962 around the same time Charles was laid off from the Pet Milk Co. He started driving west in search of a new career and accepted a job offer with the Gas Service Co. in Newton, Kansas, the town they would soon call home. Three short years later, his daughter Tina was born in 1965. He made a lifetime career of working for the Gas Service Co. in Newton starting out on the crew digging ditches and after 36 years of hard work, he earned the title of vice president of field operations at retirement. After his divorce from Janis Caudell, he later remarried to Nancy Hett on October 3rd, 2002 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.&nbsp;Charles then gained four more children by marriage: Dennis Britton (Linda) of Newton, Juli Wilson (Rick) of Salina, Lori Nisbeth (GR) of Abilene, and Devin Kelsey (Jaime) of Salina. They lived happily ever after at their home in Hillsboro Kansas. They would have been married 20 years this October. Chuck loved spending time with family, friends, and neighbors, working in his garden, fishing, hunting, pulling pranks, and kicking it back in his easy chair.
