James Edward Hardin, 66, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, August 7th, 2022. Jim was born in Lonestar, Texas on June 26, 1956, a son of the late Wilma (Weis) Fraser and Angus L. Hardin. He served in the United States Navy. Survivors include his companion Marcia Lemman of Salina, Kansas; three daughters, Beki Hardin (Matt McDermott), of Selma, North Carolina, April Aten of Lillington, North Carolina, Courtney Hardin (Levi Hickman), of Minneapolis, Kansas; son Cory Hardin (Bobbi) of Abilene, Kansas; 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many more that called him Grandpa. He is also survived by three sisters, Peggy Richard (Kenny) of St. George, Kansas, Nancy Ledgerwood of Wichita, Kansas, and Joyce Shafer of Rochelle, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his sister Linda Baccus and stepfather Lee Fraser. Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 15th at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home &amp; Crematory in Salina, Kansas. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 15th at the funeral home. Cremation will take place after the funeral and burial will be at a later date. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Roseanna (Perret) Savery, two sons, Scott Savery and Jeff Savery, and a brother, Lewis Savery.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 years, Barbara J. Savery, three sisters, Cindy (Savery) Goodman, Sally Savery, and Mary Charland, a brother, Dan Alderson and wife Judy, three grandchildren, &nbsp;Travis Savery, Tyler Savery, and Lauren Savery, and eight great-grandchildren.

She worked as a certified nursing assistant for the Veterans Administration in Wichita for ten years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bill, and Joyce Tabor, by her husband Sherman Wolfe, Jr., and a brother, Arthur (Dean) Tabor.

Survivors include her four daughters, Jenifer (Gene) Gilley, Susan (James) Shinkle, Dana (David) Dickerson and Becky Allen-Powell, two brothers, Charles (Sharon) Tabor, and Allen Tabor, and one sister, Peggy House.&nbsp; She was also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.

Bob Cook, 97, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, July 10th, 2022. 
Bob was born in St. Francis, Kansas, on November 8, 1924, a son of Arthur Robert Cook and Irene (Carlson) Cook Weis. 
He worked in soil conservation, road construction, and owned and operated Cook Mobile Home Service. 
Bob served during WWII in the United States Army as a paratrooper from 1944 - 1946. 
On May 25, 1950, Bob married Beverly M. Shores in Goodland, Kansas. 
Bob and his daughter, Cathy were avid world travelers, specifically to 
Costa Rica, Europe, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, and throughout the United 
States. He loved to visit his nieces and nephews and friends at the 
Salina VFW and American Legion Posts. 
Bob looked forward to family get-togethers, holidays, cook-outs, and other events. 
He was also blessed to be able to take the Kansas Honor Flight #12, 
April 30-May 2, 2014, and the Dream Flight on August 26, 2021. 
Survivors include his daughter, Cathy Boll, (Joe Miller) of Salina, 
Kansas; granddog, River; step-grandchildren; step-great grandchildren; 
and nieces and nephews. 
He is preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Fred Weis; 
grandparents, John and Izzy Carlson; wife, Beverly; son, Dale Cook;

He was a graduate of Salina Senior High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Leroy was an electrician by trade, and worked for many years before his retirement at Central Kansas Electric, of which he was part owner. He was a man of many hobbies, and over the course of his life he played baseball; competed in car audio competitions and skeet shooting; and was an avid sportsman who spent many happy days hunting and fishing. He was proud to be a friend of Bill W for 48 years. Leroy was a devoted father, a loving partner, and a generous friend to many. He is survived by his longtime partner, Karen Schmidt; daughter, Jamie Johnson; sisters Sharion Horton, Carolyn (David) Goodwin, and Jan Johannes; and several nieces and nephews. Leroy E. Johnson

Kenneth Leroy Hanson Sr., age 83, of Randolph, passed away Saturday August 6, 2022, at the Salina Regional Health Center.

He was born on March 25, 1939, in Manhattan, the son of Kenneth and Leona (Jensen) Hanson.&nbsp; He graduated from old Randolph High School in 1957.

On June 1, 1958, in Salem, Missouri, he married Bonnie Jean Burkman.&nbsp; She survives of the home.

Kenneth graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University with a teaching degree and began his career at Lewis, Kansas, for two years, Randolph for two years and then Logan, Kansas for 27 years.&nbsp; During this time, he earned his master’s degree from Fort Hays State University.&nbsp; In 1997, he returned to Blue Valley to become the Middle and High School principal, retiring in 2004.&nbsp; Following his retirement, he continued to substitute teach and drive a school bus until he turned 80.

He was a member of the Alert Covenant Church and enjoyed riding horses, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.&nbsp; During his many years of teaching and coaching, he made a positive impact on many of his students and athletes.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Kenneth Hanson Jr. and wife Debbie of Salina, Christine Marshall and husband Cullen of Solomon, John Hanson and wife Lee Ann of Baldwin City and Julie Weidenhaft and husband Brandon of Hays; three brothers, Melvin Hanson of Hutchinson, Gene Hanson of El Dorado and Steve Hanson of Manhattan; two sisters, Shirley O’Quinn of Bartow, Florida and Wanda Murphy of Milwaukie, Oregon; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant sons, Stephen and Karl Hanson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022, at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the Alert Covenant Church with Pastor Dwight Diller officiating.&nbsp; The family encourages all in attendance to wear clothing from their favorite sports team.&nbsp; Burial will be in the Randolph Fancy Creek Cemetery.

Dean Leon Seifert was born on June 23, 1925, near Clifton, to Leon Frank and Pearl C. (Allen) Seifert, and passed away on August 6, 2022, at Park Villa in Clyde, at the age of 97 years, 1 month, and 14 days.

Dean was one of two boys born to Leon and Pearl, and he grew up on the family farm, attending school in Agenda. Dean graduated from Agenda High school in 1942, and joined his dad in his farming operation.

A farmer and stockman his entire life, Dean enjoyed rural living, working with his John Deere tractors, and tending to his cattle.

 He was a very active and involved in many organizations, including three terms on the Greenleaf/Linn Elevator CO-OP board, two terms on the Washington County Soil Conservation Board with two years as president of the board, a member of the Brantford Community Center Board, president of the District #16 Cemetery Board, and the mayor of Brantford.

A steward of the land, Dean was awarded the 1971 soil conservation award, and the 1990 Goodyear NCRS Conservation Award.

 Dean was always on the go and stayed active with many hobbies. He made over 40 quilts by hand, donating them to the Lutheran World Relief Mission, the Brantford Community Center Raffle and the Cuba Rock-A-Thon. He enjoyed gardening, and shared his garden produce and fruits with his neighbors and pie makers. He also enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and pitch, and was active for over 25 years on bowling teams in Belleville, along with being a team player in the Washington League.

Dean enjoyed traveling, and took bus trips to Estes Park in Colorado, touring the north east states during the fall, Washington, D.C., Kentucky, various casinos, and even taking a trip to Hawaii.

Dean is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Ardyce in 1991, his second wife Arlene in 2014, brother Earl Seifert and his wife Joyce.

He is survived by his nephew Steve Seifert and his wife Angie, niece Dona Bainbridge and her husband Doug, and nephew Roger Gunter and his wife Lorna Dee. Dean is also survived by his stepdaughter-in-law Teresa Keeler and stepson-in-law Charles Jones, along with stepgrandchildren Jeffrey Keeler (Lori), Brandon Keeler (Jona), Michael Keeler (Regina), Kelly Bandt, Paige Briggs (Jeff), Tina Carstensen (Daniel). He is also survived by other family and relatives, neighbors and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at Christ Lutheran Church in Davenport, Nebraska, where the family will greet friends from 8:30 a.m. until service time. Graveside Services will follow at 2:00 pm, at Rusco Cemetery, rural Brantford.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 9, from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home. The family will not be present.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 10th, at 10:00 a.m., at Christ's Lutheran Church in Davenport, Nebraska.

Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Rusco Cemetery, rural Clifton, Kansas.

(Allen) Seifert, and passed away on August 6, 2022, at Park Villa in Clyde, at the age of 97 years, 1 month, and 14 days.Dean was one of two boys born to Leon and Pearl, and he grew up on the family farm, attending school in Agenda. Dean graduated from Agenda High school in 1942, and joined his dad in his farming operation.A farmer and stockman his entire life, Dean enjoyed rural living, working with his John Deere tractors, and tending to his cattle. He was a very active and involved in many organizations, including three terms on the Greenleaf/Linn Elevator CO-OP board, two terms on the Washington County Soil Conservation Board with two years as president of the board, a member of the Brantford Community Center Board, president of the District #16 Cemetery Board, and the mayor of Brantford.A steward of the land, Dean was awarded the 1971 soil conservation award, and the 1990 Goodyear NCRS Conservation Award. Dean was always on the go and stayed active with many hobbies. He made over 40 quilts by hand, donating them to the Lutheran World Relief Mission, the Brantford Community Center Raffle and the Cuba Rock-A-Thon. He enjoyed gardening, and shared his garden produce and fruits with his neighbors and pie makers. He also enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and pitch, and was active for over 25 years on bowling teams in Belleville, along with being a team player in the Washington League.Dean enjoyed traveling, and took bus trips to Estes Park in Colorado, touring the north east states during the fall, Washington, D.C., Kentucky, various casinos, and even taking a trip to Hawaii.Dean is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Ardyce in 1991, his second wife Arlene in 2014, brother Earl Seifert and his wife Joyce.He is survived by his nephew Steve Seifert and his wife Angie, niece Dona Bainbridge and her husband Doug, and nephew Roger Gunter and his wife Lorna Dee. Dean is also survived by his stepdaughter-in-law Teresa Keeler and stepson-in-law Charles Jones, along with stepgrandchildren Jeffrey Keeler (Lori), Brandon Keeler (Jona), Michael Keeler (Regina), Kelly Bandt, Paige Briggs (Jeff), Tina Carstensen (Daniel). Hillsboro - Sarah Kathryn Penner, 87, passed away August 4, 2022 at Newton Medical Center. She was born April 28, 1935 in Arkansas City to Raymond and Dorothy (Wheeler) Kittrell.

Life Sketch Taken from the Funeral Bulletin Sarah “Sally” Kathryn Kittrell was born to Raymond and Dorothy Kittrell of Arkansas City, Kansas. She was one of four children born to Dorothy and Raymond and is survived by her brother Jim Kittrell, sister Virginia LeSieur, and preceded in death by a brother, Ken Kittrell. She graduated from Arkansas City High School and later from Wesley School of Nursing.

Mom passed her love of caring for others on to her children and three of her four daughters also became nurses. She often would tell us stories of “how we used to do it” when she lived at the nursing school with the Sisters. Occasionally, she would tell us of shenanigans like the time during a particularly hot summer when she and another schoolmate got caught wearing white shoe polish on their legs instead of the required long stockings. The head nun was less than impressed. Another favorite story was when she was caring for a young man who had been paralyzed in an accident and had faced a long hospitalization. Mom and another nurse snuck him out of the hospital in his wheelchair and took him to a movie, then snuck him back in before anyone noticed.

While in nursing school she was introduced to Charles Penner, and after writing the school for permission, she and dad married on February 4, 1956. Together they had five children: Suzanne Michelle, Juliana Elizabeth, Kristen Deanne, Mark Aaron, and Kathryn Dianne. They lived in Arkansas City, a short time in Wichita, and then made their home in Hillsboro. 

Mom worked in various hospitals in many roles, but whether she was a floor nurse, operating room nurse, risk manager, director of nursing or hospital administrator, one thing remained constant and that was her love of caring for others. She and dad instilled a strong work ethic in the children, and a responsibility to do every job well.

Along with a strong work ethic, mom passed along strength, courage and resilience. She suffered heartbreaking losses with the deaths of dad, Suzi, Juli, and Kris, but she remained a solid source of support for all of us. She encouraged us to keep walking forward, never give up on our dreams and was a generous supporter every new adventure of her children and grandchildren. 

When asked to provide a picture for her memorial bulletin, it seemed only fitting to use not a picture of mom by herself, but a picture of her surrounded by family because they were so important to her, and she loved them so much. As her health began to decline and she could no longer be out and about, she treasured visits by family and holiday gatherings where the big old house somehow seemed crowded.

We will miss her very much, and her absence shall leave a heavy void in our hearts for many years to come. We will endeavor to honor her by living our lives in a strong, caring and generous way as she taught us.&nbsp;&nbsp;

She married Charles Penner February 4, 1956 in Arkansas City. 

Survivors include: son Mark (Kelly) Penner of Peabody; daughter Kathryn McMillen of Hillsboro; brother; Jim Kittrell of Massachusetts; Virginia Lesieur of Maine; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. 

Predeceased by: husband Charles Penner in 1992; daughters Suzanne Ollenburger, Juliana Volotov, Kristen Penner; brother Ken Kittrell. 

Graveside service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Sister Rose Beatrice Dreiling died August 8, 2022 at Nazareth Motherhouse in Concordia, KS.&nbsp; She was 92 years old and a Sister of St. Joseph for 77 years.&nbsp; 

She was born in Victoria, KS, on May 26, 1930 to Peter and Clara Bollig Dreiling, the seventh of ten children, and was baptized Cecelia Bernita.&nbsp; 

She entered the Sisters of St. Joseph, Concordia, KS, on February 10, 1945.&nbsp; On August 15, 1945, Cecelia received the habit of the Sisters of St. Joseph and was given the name Sister Rose Beatrice.&nbsp; She pronounced first vows on August 15, 1946 and final vows on May 26, 1950.

Sister Rose Beatrice received a BA degree in English in 1964 from Marymount College, Salina, KS. &nbsp;By the time she received her diploma she had already taught school for 14 years and served as principal for seven of those years.&nbsp; From 1972-74 she taught in Milwaukee, WI and then in 1974 she taught in Chicago, IL, for 12 years which was the highlight of her whole teaching career.&nbsp; Upon retiring in 1987 from teaching, she spent her years taking care of family members and doing parish work.&nbsp; In May 2013 she retired to the Motherhouse.

Sister Rose Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.&nbsp; 

A Bible Vigil Service will be held August 11, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in the Nazareth Motherhouse Auditorium with Sister Missy Ljungdahl as the eulogist.&nbsp; The Mass of Christian Burial will be August 11, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the Motherhouse Auditorium with Fr. Barry Brinkman presiding.&nbsp; The burial will be in the Nazareth Motherhouse Cemetery.&nbsp;

Phyllis was a 1971 graduate of Concordia High School.

On January 9, 1971 she married Ralph D. Kearn in Concordia, Kansas.&nbsp; They were united in marriage for 51 years. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Phyllis was a school bus driver and custodian for USD 333 for 47 years

She was a past member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #1278 in Concordia, Kansas

Phyllis enjoyed, reading, traveling, bingo, going to the casinos.&nbsp; Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Wolf Point High School.

Joyce met John Eakins at a USO dance in Billings, MT in 1949 and they were married on July 1, 1950 in Wolf Point, Montana.&nbsp; They enjoyed 68 wonderful years together and he preceded her on July 14, 2018.

Joyce worked as a telephone operator in Montana.&nbsp; She was a homemaker and then later went to work for McDonalds Department Store and later Dreilings, all in Concordia, until her retirement.&nbsp; She was life member of the VFW Auxiliary, a 4-H leader for years with the Hollis Hustlers.&nbsp; Joyce enjoyed crocheting, cross stitch, reading and most of all, spending time her family.

She is survived by her two sons, Jack Eakins (Wenxia), Concordia, KS, Jay Eakins, Bentonville, AR; two daughters, Cheryl Tira (Tom), Columbus, NE, Dawn Steinman (Albert), Chester, NE; son-in-law Ed Bridges, Richland, WA; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John; her parents, daughter LeAnn Bridges, grandson Bryan Runyan and brothers, Wayne, Richard and Orin Shrader.

Visitation will be from 1-8 pm. Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.&nbsp; Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Jonathan Peppers officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow in the Hollis Cemetery, Hollis, Kansas.&nbsp;

Albert Edward Wells, Jr. passed into heaven to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 7, 2022. He was born on July 23, 1933 in Dade County, GA to Albert and Mae Belle (Haswell) Wells, Sr. He was the fifth of seven children.

Al married the love of his life, Dorothy Jean Aebi of Woodbine, on August 22, 1951, in The Chapel of the Transfiguration in Grand Teton National Park, WY.&nbsp;They made their home in Enterprise for most of their 71 years of marriage.

Al was employed as a machinist at The Ehrsam Company in Enterprise, and later at Exline in Salina, and Vacu-Blast in Abilene. Later in life, he was able to pursue his lifelong dream of being a cattle rancher until his health no longer allowed it.&nbsp;He attended Emmanuel Church in Abilene.

He was preceded in death by parents, two siblings in childhood, Jimmie Lou, and his only brother Myron; four other sisters, Christine (Curtis) Stephens, Jo (John) Rose, Cecille Wells, Opal (John) Craze; brother-in-law Darrell Aebi, son-in-law Ray Van Sickle and nephew Steve Stephens.

Al is survived by his beloved wife Jean, daughter Christiane Van Sickle of Newton, and son Kenyon (Kathy) of Olathe; also grandchildren Melodi (Caleb) Wood, Brent (Jennifer) Van Sickle, Abbie Bazan and Ashley (Francisco) Pacheco as well as seven great-grandchildren, Shane, Brook, Jude, Braden, Oliver, Bryce, and Sawyer and six nieces and nephews. Family was everything to him.

A funeral service will be held at Danner Funeral Home, 501 N. Buckeye in Abilene on Wednesday, August 10 at 2:00, with his grandson Pastor Brent Van Sickle officiating. The family will receive friends for 30 minutes before the service. Burial will follow in the Woodbine Cemetery. 

Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Church.

Leroy "Lee" Munk, age 85, passed away peacefully in Salina on Saturday, Aug 6th, 2022.

He was born to Ted W Munk and Alexia (Walter) Munk and raised on the family farm near Walker, Kansas, in Ellis County.

Lee was an athlete as well as a scholar, graduating from Victoria High School and earning a football scholarship to St. Benedict's.&nbsp; He graduated from Fort Hays State University, joined the National Guard, and trained to be a medic at Fort Sam Houston.

He married Norma Jean Engel at St. Joseph church in Hays in 1961. After earning a master’s degree from Emporia State University, he taught high school chemistry and biology and coached basketball in Derby, KS.

In 1967 Lee and Norma moved to Salina, Kansas, where he enjoyed a 40-year career as an agricultural pharmaceutical representative, and he and Norma raised their family.

Upon retirement, he spent time maintaining his properties and working with the Tractor Supply Company, where he enjoyed interacting with local farmers and ranchers. Lee enjoyed American History, gardening, backyard barbecues, getting up early to start his days, and a good movie.

Lee was defined by his love of family, his powerful work ethic, his well-mannered respectful nature, and his love of solitude.

His parents and sister, Charlene (Munk) Dreiling, preceded him in death.&nbsp; 

He is survived by his wife Norma Jean of 61 years, sister Terese Jones and her husband Doug, daughter Connie Williams and her husband Greg, son Curtis Munk and his wife Becky, and daughter Ilene Munk, and two grandsons Alex and Ian Gaekwad.

Visitation will be at Ryan Mortuary in Salina, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 10th, with a rosary to follow from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. &nbsp;

The funeral mass will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Salina, on Thursday, August 11, at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. in the family plot in St. Ann’s Cemetery in Walker, Kansas.

Donald Lee Minnig was born on November 21, 1938, in Ainsworth, Nebraska, the son of George and Neva (Zahl) Minnig. 

Don attended and graduated from Stuart Public&nbsp;High School, class of 1957. Following high school, Don attended Hastings College, where he obtained his teaching degree. Don was always proud of the fact that Tom Osborne was one of the players to come recruit Don to play football for Hastings College, and ultimately became one of Don’s teammates.

After graduating from Hastings College, Don signed a contract to teach math at Chester Public Schools. He taught math, business, and was the football and basketball coach, along with junior class sponsor. Don enjoyed helping the juniors decorate for prom, and helped them with many elaborate themes. Don spent his entire 38 year teaching career at Chester, before retiring.

During the summers, Don worked in construction and painting, where he formed lifelong bonds with the crews he worked with. Many of the young men Don worked with looked up to him as a mentor. He was a member of the Chester United Methodist Church, where he was involved in many different leadership positions.

Don was united in marriage to Glenda Rae Porter on August 13, 1966, at the Chester United Methodist Church, and to this union two daughters were born.

After he retired from teaching, Don enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. Don and Glenda were always on the go, and attended as many of their children, and later grandson’s events, as they could.

Don passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 83 years, 8 months, and 14 days, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

He is preceded in death by his wife Glenda, his parents George and Neva, and his sister, Mary Tonkin.

He will forever be remembered by his daughters Janna Meyer (Shawn) and Leesa Minnig of Lincoln, grandsons Paxton Minnig (fiancé Brooklyn), Maddox Meyer and Brixon Meyer. Don is also survived by special family friend Chad Novotny, who was like a son to Don and Glenda.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 9th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Chester. Burial will follow at the Chester City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, August 8th, from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home in Belleville.

Sharon Boyle, 78 of Clay Center, died Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, Kansas.&nbsp; She was born on September 7, 1943 in Green, Kansas, the daughter of Leslie and LaVone (Johnson) Boyle.&nbsp;

Sharon grew up in Green and graduated from Randolph High School in 1961.&nbsp; She married David Kendrick and they later divorced.&nbsp; She then married Frank Tarr.&nbsp; 

Sharon attended beautician school in Colorado Springs and worked on Peterson Air Force Base.&nbsp; She and Frank divorced in 1985.&nbsp;&nbsp; Sharon worked as CNA and CMA for MedicaLodge, as a CNC machine operator at Yellow Brick and a caregiver at Big Lakes.

She is preceded in death by parents and her brother Ronald Boyle.

Son: John and wife Kim Kendrick of Clay Center, Kansas

Daughter: Loni and husband Brian Yarrow of Wakefield, Kansas

Six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren

Burial:&nbsp;&nbsp;Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas

Visitation:&nbsp;Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center, Kansas.

SALINA, KS -&nbsp;Dixon "Mickey" Loveall&nbsp;passed away August 3, 2022 at the age of 85 while at his home.&nbsp; He was born on February 2,1937 in Zanesville, Ohio, Mickey was the son of Orville (Jiggs) and Beulah (Loveall) Lent.

He is survived by his loving wife Diana Loveall whom he married October 23, 2000. His family liked to joke that after four attempts he finally found one that could tame him.

His children by order of age are Eugene (Lapita) Smith of Arizona, Richard "Gene" Loveall of Ohio, Debbie (Ken) Rupke of Kansas, Brenda (Shawn) Anderson of Minnesota, Cindy (Jeff) Clossman of Ohio, and Dawn (Roger) Weber of Virginia, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sister Sheila K. Nichols of Texas also survive him.

He loved children, dogs of all kinds and NASCAR. And had a lifelong crush on the great Loretta Lynn. Mickey lived a good life, he was loved by many, and will be greatly missed!Services will be Tuesday, August 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Ryan Mortuary.
