A Salina man was arrested after being under the influence and going airborne in his vehicle, crashing into a couple of homes.

According to Police Captain James Feldman on the evening of Tuesday, May 20th, a 34-year old man named Zachery Danner was driving a 2017 Dodge Ram on I-135. Allegedly when Danner exited the interstate, he drove into a ditch and went through a chain-link fence.

Once this happened, the vehicle went airborne and landed in the backyard of a residence on 2064 Harold Ave. Danner then continued to drive as he went through a wooden shed and metal fence.

Furthermore, Danner drove through another fence in the residence of 2054 Harold Ave., and finally came to a complete stop at the home.

Officers received report about the incident and upon arrival, came in contact with Danner at 2054 Harold. Police determined he was possibly under the influence of an inhalant. He was also complaining of pain and had scratches on his arm and forehead.

Officers then transported Danner to Salina Regional Health Center for his injuries.

After his treatment, officers arrested Danner for DUI.
