Patricia Julia Geske, born August 5th, 1937, in Colorado, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 15th in Salina, Kansas, at the age of 87.
Patricia spent most of her life in Salina, where she built a home and family. Notably, Patty was a 50 year member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority where she built countless friendships. She worked for many years at the Saline County Treasurer office and was well known in the community for selling Avon.
Patricia’s greatest gift was her kindness. She could strike up a conversation with anyone she met and, remarkably, never forgot a name or face. Her warmth and genuine interest in others left an impression on all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Terrie Geske, her son Greg Geske, her grandchildren; Kyla, Joe, and Kelli, as well as great-grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Dean Geske, whom she now joins in rest.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM on August 9th at Roselawn. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
