November 5, 1923 - October 21, 2022

Pauline Ione Peterson Redden, 98, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 21st, 2022.

Pauline was born in Gypsum, Kansas on November 5, 1923, a daughter of Emma Elizabeth (Hubele) and Karl William Kogler.

She enjoyed many good times in these two groups, Delphine Club and Sigma Sigma Kappa. She was also a member of Gypsum United Methodist Church.

She moved from the farm to Gypsum after Leonard's passing, where she served on the city council and as mayor of Gypsum for two years. She loved sewing, playing the piano, and once playing the drums at the Gypsum Fall Festival.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sharon Bath of Gypsum, Kansas, Rita Bjork of Phoenix, Arizona; and son Robert Peterson, of Strong City, Kansas.

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Tracy, Terry, Amy, Jason, Scott, Rachelle, Rhonda, Shannon, Rebekah, Leah, Anna, Sarah, Emma; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; husbands Leonard Peterson, Max Redden; brothers Harry Kogler, Kenneth Kogler; sister Olga Fritz; grandsons Brent Emery and Chad Merrill.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 28th at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home and Crematory in Salina with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29th at Gypsum United Methodist Church in Gypsum, Kansas with Pastor Rebecca Stredney officiating.

Burial will follow at Gypsum City Cemetery, Gypsum, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Gypsum United Methodist Church, 524 King St., Gypsum, KS 67448.
