
Isaiah Randalle (JR/Sacramento, Calif.) of the KCAC Co-Champion Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes has been named as the KCAC Football Player of the Year and Co-Offensive Player of the Year as the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2021 Football All-KCAC selections, as selected by conference coaches.
Randalle led the KCAC in passing, averaging 251.3 yards per game though the air. His 34 touchdown passing also led the KCAC. He helped the Coyote offense lead the KCAC in scoring and total offense, and KWU ranked second in the NAIA in total yards and fourth in total offense per game. Randalle ranks 10th in the NAIA in passing per game and ninth in completion percentage and second in touchdown passes.
He shared Offensive Player of the Year honors with Chantz Scurry of Bethel.
The Coyotes had five other first-team selections in receiver Stevie Williams (SR/Los Angeles, Calif.), offensive linemen Jarren Hightower (JR/Oklahoma City, Okla.) and Chase Strother (SO/Berwick, Pa.), defensive lineman Cole Parker (JR/Orland, Calif.) and linebacker DeVante' Gabriel.
Williams became the first KWU receiver to have two seasons over 1000 yards receiving, with 1013 yards through the end of the regular season. He has 54 catches on the season and 15 touchdown receptions on the year. He is fourth in the KCAC in receptions and first in yards and touchdown receptions.
Hightower and Strother were key parts of Wesleyan's offensive line that led the KCAC in total offense and passing and was second in rushing. The Coyotes rank fourth in the NAIA in total offense, and seventh in passing.
Parker led the Coyotes with 8.5 sacks on the season to go along with 44 total tackles that included 14.5 for less. He also has a forced fumble and a fumble recovery on the season. His 8.5 sacks on the season ranks second best in the KCAC and 13th in the NAIA.
Gabriel led the Coyotes with 56 tackles on the season, averaging 5.1 per game. He ranked No. 23 in the conference in tackles.
Fullback Roy Sanders (SR/Sacramento, Calif.), receiver Eren Jenkins (FR/Chicago, Ill.), tight end Jake McClure (JR/Wichita, Kan.), offensive lineman Trace Ott (JR/Orange Beach, Ala.), defensive lineman Scott Sanchez (JR/Kelseyville, Calif.), defensive back Julian Urioste (FR/Portales, N.M.), and kicker Aaron Main (JR/Tulsa, Okla.) all earned second-team honors.
Sanders played a key role in Wesleyan's offense, lead blocking for the Coyote running backs that rushed for 2242 yards coming on the season and 27 touchdowns on the ground.
Jenkins has 48 receptions on the season for 849 yards and 10 touchdowns, ranking third in the KCAC for receiving touchdowns. He 849 yards ranks fifth in the conference and his 48 receptions ranks sixth.
McClure has five receptions on the season, but four of them have gone for touchdowns. He has 86 yards receiving on the season as well. He has been another key part of KWU's high-powered offense.
Ott is a key part of Wesleyan's offensive line at center, that led the KCAC in total offense and passing and was second in rushing. The Coyotes rank fourth in the NAIA in total offense, and seventh in passing.
Sanchez has 19 tackles on the season for the Coyotes, but has a key role in disrupting opposing offenses. He had 4.5 sacks on the season and a forced fumble and fumble recovery.
Urioste leads the Coyotes with four interceptions on the season and is second on the team in tackles with 46. His four interceptions ranks sixth in the KCAC.
Main leads the KCAC in kick scoring with 89 points on the season. He has converted 9 of 11 field goals and 62 of 67 PATs on the season. Main also handles kickoff duties for the Coyotes.
Drevon Macon (JR/Los Angeles, Calif.) earned three honorable-mention honors for the Coyotes at receiver, kick returner and punt returner. Offensive linemen Jake Balderrama (JR/Moreno Valley, Calif.) and Nolan Harris (SR/Lexington, Mo.), defensive lineman Christian Bowman (JR/Gardena, Calif.), linebackers Devontae Brooks and Zyair Velazquez (SR/San Diego, Calif.), defensive backs Kumauri Bennett (FR/Detroit, Mich.), Cleon Hamilton (JR/Hinesville, Ga.), and Shaun Browder (JR/St. Louis, Mo.) and punter Miguel Millan (JR/Lodi, Calif.) also earned honorable-mention honors.
Kansas Wesleyan is 10-1 overall and finished 9-1 in the KCAC, sharing the KCAC championship.
The Coyotes head to Indiana Wesleyan for the first round of the NAIA Football Championship Series on Saturday in Marion, Ind.
