Saline County
Saline County Commissioners have formed a new advisory committee that will review proposals from outside agencies and provide recommendations on how the County will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit nonprofit agencies in the community.
The committee will evaluate proposals from nonprofit agencies based on the following:
- Agency mission and how it helps control costs for County departments.
- How County funding is used to leverage outside funding.
- Other public support from value of tax-exempt property and/or City funding.
- Other fundraising efforts.
Committee members must be available between Mary 22 and June 12.
Availability during the week of June 1 is essential for agency presentations to the advisory committee.
Outside Agency Funding
Applications for outside agency funding will be accepted between April 27 - May 22.
Important Dates
- April 10: Committee application period closes
- April 21: Committee members appointed by the County Commission
- April 27 - May 22: Applications for funding accepted
- Week of June 1: Presentations to the Social Services Funding Advisory Committee
Community members interested in serving on the Social Services Funding Advisory Committee should complete the online application form by April 10.
