HOPE - Three earthquakes shook parts of Dickinson County Saturday.

The first was a 3.6 magnitude quake that struck northeast of Hope at 6:04 a.m. Saturday, according to the Kansas Geological Survey. It was centered north of 800 Avenue between Rain Road and Quail Road.

The second quake, a 3.4 magnitude temblor, struck east of Hope at 12:05 p.m. Saturday. It was centered between Kansas Highway 4 (K-4) and 600 Avenue on the north and south and Rain Road and Quail Road on the east and west.

A smaller 2.9 magnitude quake struck northeast of Hope at 4:06 p.m. Saturday. It was centered just east of Quail Road between K-4 and 800 Avenue.
