Two people with active warrants now also face requested drug charges after an incident Tuesday evening in north Salina.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of N. Phillips Street for the report of someone on the most wanted list banging on the door, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning. When they arrived, officers found Tiani Barnes, 28, of Salina, banging on the door.

An officer recognized Barnes as having a felony probation violation warrant from Saline County District Court, Forrester said.
When officers made contact with Barnes, a physical altercation ensued. During the scuffle, five plastic bags allegedly fell from Barnes' waistband, Forrester said. Barnes eventually was tased before being taken into custody, he added.
The bags tested positive for methamphetamine, Forrester said. There was no drug tax stamp.
Officers then made contact with the owner of the residence who told them that Forrest Noyes, 30, of Salina, who also had an active warrant, was in the house. Noyes' warrant was a felony parole violation warrant from the Kansas Department of Corrections, Forrester said.

While looking for Noyes inside the residence, officers found several more bags of methamphetamine. Forrester said Noyes was found hiding in the attic.
In addition to their warrants, Barnes and Noyes each were arrested on the following requested charges, Forrester said.
●Possession of methamphetamine
●Possession of drug paraphernalia
●Felony interference with law enforcement officers
●No drug tax stamp
