Lester Dale Kubick, 86, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022, in Salina, KS. He was born August 19, 1935, in Ellsworth County, KS to Frank and Carrie (Smith) Kubick.

Lester married Patricia Homolka on October 14, 1956, at the First Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth, KS. A lifetime resident of Ellsworth County, Lester was a farmer and rancher and township road grader. He also ran Kubick Construction and, along with his son Robert, Kubick Trucking.

Lester is survived by his wife Pat Kubick of Kanopolis; daughters Diann Schultz (Wayne) of Wilson, Vicki Williams (Jeff) of Geneseo, and Bev Westerman (Scott) of Ellsworth; daughter-in-law Patti Kubick of Ellsworth; seven grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren; brother Jim Kubick (Connie) of Lincoln; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Robert Kubick; and brothers Floyd “Babe” Kubick and Roy Kubick.

Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 22, 2022, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, KS with burial following at Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will take place an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
