There is still time to view Lawrence based artist, Liza MacKinnon's new collection of artwork at the Salina Public Library, as the public will have a chance to meet the artist in-person Friday.

From now until October 24, MacKinnon will continue to debut "A Kansas Story Time" at Gallery 708 inside the Library (301 W. Elm). Friday, October 3 from&nbsp;4:00 pm - 5:30 pm,&nbsp;MacKinnon will be available for a meet &amp; greet at the exhibit opening.

MacKinnon has created 25 new children's garments made from paper.&nbsp; Each work of art is named for an individual who made a difference in Salina. Titles such as "Bud's Beautiful Day and Geraldine Leads the Way" illustrate her works and a reminder of beloved children's book titles.

This event is free to the public and will include light refreshments.
