Sharon Kay Rose, 76, of Mcpherson, Kansas, passed away at 1:43 a.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Cedars House in McPherson.
Sharon was born in McPherson, Kansas on January 1, 1945, a daughter of June (Hanson) and Doris Wilson Young.
Sharon attended Wickersham Elementary School, McPherson Junior High School and graduated from McPherson High School, McPherson, Kansas in 1963.
Through the years Sharon owned and operated Rose Janitorial Service in Billings, Montana and in McPherson, Kansas.
Sharon enjoyed spending time with all her friends and especially her family.
Sharon K. Young was united in marriage to Glenn Rose on April 14, 1963 in McPherson, Kansas. The young couple established their first home together in McPherson. This union was blessed with the birth of a daughter, Becky.
She is survived by her daughter Becky Rose, of McPherson, Kansas; her siblings Brenda Banman and her husband Keith of McPherson, Kansas, Cherri Koehn and her husband Frank of McPherson, Kansas, Connie Young of Salina, Kansas, Donna Bartel and her husband LeWayne of Buhler, Kansas, Jerilynn Nickel of Marquette, Kansas; and Sharon's close friend Richard Gage.
She is also survived by two grandchildren, Tevin Rose and Honestee Whittker and one great-grandchild, Lailaa Kent.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Glenn Rose and her brother Roger Wilson.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery, McPherson, Kansas.
