Beetle rear-ends SUV; Salina woman arrested

A Salina woman was arrested after the Volkswagen Beetle she was driving rear-ended another.

An officer was sent to the area of S. Broadway Boulevard and W. South Street for the report of a Volkswagen Beetle driving erratically, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning. The officer located the Beetle driving southbound on S. Broadway Boulevard.

A 2010 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Jachob Kinsland, 27, of Junction City, was southbound on S. Broadway Boulevard and stopped at the light at W. South Street when the Beetle rear-ended it.

The Beetle sustained minor front-end damage and the Equinox minor rear end damage.

The driver of the Beetle, identified as Laura Donmyer, 59, of Salina, was arrested on the following requested charges, Forrester said.
