WICHITA – Kansas Wesleyan's Josie Deckinger (SO/Wichita, Kan.) earned her second consecutive KCAC Volleyball Setter of the Week honor for her efforts for the Coyotes in matches last week.

KCAC Players of the Week are selected for their performances by a vote of conference sports information directors.

Deckinger continues to do an outstanding job as the lead setter in KWU's 6-2 offense. She averaged an amazing 8.0 assists per set on the week, including 9.33 per set against Southwestern. She also averaged 2.33 digs per set on the week and added a couple setter dump kills along the way. She's been a big part of helping KWU to a seven-match win streak.

KWU is 14-7 overall and 3-2 in the KCAC heading into Wednesday's match against Bethel. The Coyotes are on the road until October 16 when KWU hosts Sterling on Homecoming.
