The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) has released its New Year’s Holiday Activity Report. 

The reporting period for the holiday ran from 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 31&nbsp;through 11:59 pm on Sunday, January 4.

KHP worked two non-DUI&nbsp;related fatal crashes which resulted in two non-DUI&nbsp;related fatalities. The fatal crashes occurred in Jefferson and Ford counties.

KHP&nbsp;personnel assisted 687 motorists over the holiday reporting&nbsp;period.

The reporting period for 2024 was from 6:00 pm Friday,&nbsp;December 29,&nbsp;2023 to 11:59 pm Monday,&nbsp;January 1, 2024.
