BILLINGS, MT - Marian Louise Rahmeier Frederking, 91, longtime Salina resident, was called home to her savior, July 4, 2021, in Billings, MT. Marian was born in Ellsworth, KS, Sept. 12, 1929 to Henry and Laura (Pflughoeft) Rahmeier, Jr. Marian married the love her life Walter Frederking, Oct 31, 1948, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sylvan Grove.
Marian graduated from Sylvan Grove Public High School and attended Brown Mackie School of Business in Salina. She was a secretarial worker prior to taking time to raise her family and then spent 21 years at Great Plains Insurance Company, retiring in 1993. Marian is fondly remembered for giving selflessly of her time and talents to her family, friends, community and church. Marian shared her talent for painting and sewing with family and her paintings and sewing projects are still enjoyed today.
She is survived by children David Frederking (Kim); Rebecca Voelzke, Ruth Terry and Esther Roth; grandchildren Jesika Doty, Matt Frederking (Melissa), Adam Frederking (Myka), Chris Frederking (Venessa), David Terry (Katya), Nick Roth (Jennifer) and Taylor Roth; and great-grandchildren, Liam Doty; Rylee, Hadley, Canyon, Samuel, Sadie and Eli Frederking, Sarah Hale; Asher, Jonas and Noah Roth; sister Gertie Brown; and sister-in-law Alice Rahmeier.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ernie Rahmeier; sons-in-law John Terry and Joseph Roth; grandson-in-law Doug Doty; and granddaughter April Frederking.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 17, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 702 S. Ninth, Salina, with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Lutheran Hour or Trinity Lutheran Church.
