HERINGTON - A quite small earthquake rattled a part of eastern Dickinson County Monday evening.
The 2.1 magnitude quake struck northwest of Herington at 7:28 p.m. Monday, according to the Kansas Geological Survey. The quake was centered just west of Union Road between Kansas Highway 4 and 800 Avenue.
