A six-year-old boy was injured Tuesday evening when he ran onto a county road and into a car.
Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning that a 2008 Honda Oddyssey was northbound in the 100 block of South Simpson Road when a six-year-old boy ran from a driveway on the west side of the road and ran into the side of the Odyssey. A southbound vehicle had just missed hitting the boy, he said.
The boy suffered a fractured leg and was transported to Salina Regional Health Center.
