UPDATE: The National Weather Service in Wichita (NWS-W) has updated the rain forecast for our area.
Rain will develop during the predawn hours in central Kansas and expand across the area on Monday, NWS-W noted.
Periods of thunderstorms are possible, mainly across south central and southeast Kansas, but severe storms are not anticipated. Rivers and creeks will see rises with some minor flooding possible.
