SALINE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 9 a.m. Monday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Honda motorcycle driven by David S. Friedrichsen, 39, Loveland, Colo., was was northbound on Interstate 135 just south of W. Schilling Road in the passing lane.
The motorcycle and an unknown white SUV, in the right hand lane, were entering the construction zone when the SUV switched lanes, struck the motorcycle caused it to go travel into median.
The motorcycle driver was ejected. The unknown SUV continued northbound. EMS transported Friedrichsen to Salina Regional Health Center. He was wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
