A teen was injured when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving Thursday morning in south Salina.
William Griffith, 19, of Salina, was southbound on S. Ninth Street when he lost control of a 2015 Yamaha that then struck the median and crashed near the intersection with Saturn Avenue, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning.
The wreck occurred at approximately 10:40 a.m. Thursday.
Griffith suffered broken ribs and a broken leg, and was transported by EMS to Salina Regional Health Center, Forrester said.
Griffith was wearing a helmet.
