Jan Louise (Tweedy) Dockstader, 66, of Gypsum, passed away July 15, 2021 at Salina Regional Health Center.
Jan was born September 29, 1954 in Salina to John Wesley and Dorothea Arlene (Faelber) Tweedy. She attended school in Gypsum and Southeast of Saline High School in Assaria.
Jan worked many jobs including Raytheon in Salina. After retirement, she worked at Salina Labor building, Kansas Buffet and Exit 14 Restaurant.
Jan loved animals and enjoyed gardening, canning many of the vegetables she grew. She enjoyed a cold beer and visiting with family and friends.
Jan is survived by her biological daughter Jennifer Stanley of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Jennifer’s two children and two grandchildren; brother Douglas Tweedy (Denise) of Gypsum; niece Tamara Tweedy of Salina; nephew, Eric Tweedy of Eudora.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Dockstader; parents; and brother Michel.
After a private family burial, we invite you to a celebration of Jan’s life at Gypsum Community Room, 2 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021. Friends are welcome to come share memories.
