A man was arrested for allegedly making a threat to burn a house down and damaging various home decor items.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on April 12 at around noon, officers were dispatched to a home in south Salina for the report of a disturbance.
Reportedly, an individual inside the home stated a family member destroyed a large amount of items and threatened to burn the house down.
Total value loss was listed as $6,170.
SPD stated there was a family dispute before the incident occurred.
Andrew Zeigler of SPD reported the suspect involved is someone they have encountered in the past and at times has mental health crises.
Booked into the Saline County Jail was Daniel Klenda (40).
He was booked for the requested charges of Criminal Threat and Criminal Damage to Property.
