ABILENE - The Abilene Police Department (APD) arrested two people from Wichita after allegedly operating a stolen vehicle.
According to APD on Thursday morning, the police department received a Flock alert (notifications sent to law enforcement when a vehicle of interest is stolen) that a stolen vehicle from Wichita entered Abilene.
Shortly after, officers located the vehicle at the Love's Travel Center (2322 Fair Road). As officers approached, 26-year old Daniel Natoli of Wichita exited the vehicle and fled. A short foot pursuit took place, but Natoli was arrested.
APD stated they arrested a second individual in the vehicle identified as 24-year old, Ivey Graves of Wichita.
Natoli is facing requested charges that could include theft, interference with Law Enforcement and criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Graves is facing requested charges that could include possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.
