Richard W. Turner, 67, of Salina, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022. He was born January 3, 1955 in Salina, to Emery and Shirley Turner.
Richard joined the United States Army in 1972 and was discharged in 1975. In Richard’s spare time he loved spending time with family and friends, doing puzzles, hunting, fishing, bowling and watching Dallas Cowboys Football games.
Survivors include his mother Shirley Turner; children Jeremy Turner, Jason Turner, Daniel Turner, Angela Turner; in-laws Cheyenne Farrington and Amanda Turner; siblings David Turner, Sheryl Long and Karen Buser; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father Emery Turner.
Memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at First Church of the Nazarene in Salina, with Pastor Jon Fillipi as officiant. Inurnment will follow in Bennington Cemetery.
