Project Salina provides specific instructions for food pick up

We are asking participating businesses to deliver any donated items/cash on either Tuesday, June 4 or Wednesday, June 5, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., at the former Consolidated Printing building located at 319 S. 5th Street (on the southern side of the building).

The warehouse is located between South and Mulberry Street, specifically on South Street. Look for board members stationed at the dock entrance on the southwest side (facing 5th street), where Project Salina yard signs will be displayed. https://www.projectsalina.com/collectioninformation

PRINT ATTACHED FORM and include it with your product/cash donation when you deliver the items.

We would prefer to collect everything on the scheduled two-day window. Our board members have scheduled time off work specifically for this purpose, and we would like to collect all donations on those days. If you are delivering, kindly specify which of the two days you will arrive and an approximate time to expect you at the warehouse.

  1. Your preferred day and time for pickup.
  2. Address of your business, including specific door instructions and the contact person upon our arrival.
  3. Contact person's name and cell phone number for communication.
  4. Quantity and type of products requiring pickup.
  5. Any cash or checks we should collect during the pickup.

Please ensure that any food products are properly bagged or boxed to avoid excessive weight and that the items are easily accessible on the ground floor. Additionally, please complete the attached form to help our volunteers efficiently track donation numbers.

If June 4 or June 5 doesn't work with your schedule, send us an email and we'll arrange with our board members to transport the items to the warehouse at their convenience.

For those exclusively offering checks or cash, here are your options:

Mail the checks to Project Salina, PO Box 2861, Salina, KS 67402-2861.

There's no deadline for cash donations; feel free to send them at your convenience. PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL CHECKS ARE PAYABLE TO PROJECT SALINA!

If mailing cash isn't preferable, you can drop it off, along with any checks, at Central National Bank (454 S. Ohio, near Water’s True Value). Please label the envelope with "Kristina Litchman, Project Salina" and include your name for proper crediting of your deposit. You can utilize the drive-through or visit a teller inside.

Should you prefer a board member to collect the cash/checks in person, please reach out to [email protected], and we'll arrange a pickup at our earliest convenience.
