A water main break on Crawford and S. Ohio streets which occurred earlier in Salina on Monday, has backed up traffic to one lane and alternative routes are highly encouraged.
According to a City of Salina Water Department Official, a 6-inch water main break that occurred on Crawford and S. Ohio streets by Subway and the old Original Grande has backed up to one lane going eastbound from Lewis to S. Ohio streets.
Traffic is currently being backed up past Roach St.
The Water Department strongly encourages residents to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. Repairs are currently being made to solve the issue.
According to the Water Department, repairs may take the entire evening of Monday.
The Water Department also stated that all businesses on Crawford between Lewis and S. Ohio streets are without water.
