The Tri-Rivers Fair is just around the corner!
Pre-fair activities begin July 30, with the fair itself scheduled for Aug. 3-7 in Kenwood Park.
If you are interested in being in the fair parade at 7 p.m. on Aug. 2, you still have time to enter. The parade is scheduled to travel south on Santa Fe Avenue from Elm Street to Prescott Avenue. (And if you can't make it in person to watch, the parade is scheduled to live stream on Salina Post!)
Parade entries postmarked between July 15-25 are $30 for businesses and $20 for non-profits. After July 25, the cost is $45 for businesses and $35 for non-profits. To access an entry form, click here.
Pre-fair events
The 4-H Dog Show is scheduled for 9 a.m. July 30 in the Great Plains Manufacturing Convention Hall at Tony's Pizza Events Center.
The Demolition Derby is scheduled for 7 p.m. July 30 at Salina Speedway, 2841 S. Burma Road. Pits open at 3 p.m. and gates open at 6 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-12. Tickets will be sold at the gate only.
The 4-H Fashion Revue is scheduled for 7 p.m. July 31 in the Great Plains Manufacturing Convention Hall at Tony's Pizza Events Center.
