NWS in Wichita has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from 3 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday for the following counties in our area.

Snow is expected, with total accumulations of up to two inches.

NWS in Hastings, Neb., has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from 10 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday for the following counties in our area.

Mitchell County
Snow is expected, with total accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. Isolated higher amounts are possible. This is expected to be a fluffy snow, accompanied by wind gusts of 20-25 mph. Blowing snow will be a concern at times.
Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could reduce visibility. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
