City commission meeting attendee tests positive for COVID-19

If you attended Monday's Salina City Commission meeting, you need to monitor yourself for symptoms of COVID-19.

In a news release this afternoon, the Saline County Health Department announced that it was notified today that an attendee of the Salina City Commission meeting had tested positive for COVID-19. The unvaccinated attendee was symptomatic and unmasked during the meeting, and reported that he/she did not socially distance from other attendees.

The health department urges those in attendance to monitor for symptoms. Those who develop symptoms should do the following.

●Isolate at home

●Get tested

●Let the test location know you attended the Salina City Commission meeting on Monday
