James Michael Leslie, age 49, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025. He was born June 17, 1976 in Denver Colorado to James Leon and Connie Jo (Birdsell) Leslie. He worked for Royal Engineering Company.
James was preceded in death by his father James L. Leslie, step father Robert Brooks, grandparents Pearl and Paul Ritchey and Betty and Jimmie Birsell.
He is survived by his mother Connie Brooks of Gaylord, KS; daughters Annie Leslie of Gaylord, KS, Jamie Leslie of Great Bend, KS, Jessica Leslie of Gaylord, KS, Abbigail Leslie of Gaylord, KS, grandson Trey Zeiters of Great Bend, KS, granddaughter Evee Craig of Gaylord, KS; sister Paula Leslie of Smith Center, KS, nephews Nicholas, Anthony, Austen and Elijah Jones of Smith Center, KS and ex-wife Charlene Muniz of Great Bend, KS.
Services will be held at a later date as cremation was chosen.
Memorial contributions may be given to the James Leslie Memorial Fund and can be sent in care of the mortuary.
