SOLOMON -- Two men were arrested on multiple requested drug charges after a search warrant was executed in Solomn late last week.
On Friday, the Dickinson County Sheriff's Department Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), with the assistance of sheriff's deputies and Kansas Highway Patrol troopers executed a search warrant in the 200 block of East Sixth Street in Solomon following a three-week investigation, according to Dickinson County Sheriff Gareth Hoffman.
Arrested were Ethan Swarts, 18, and Alec Swarts, 23, the sheriff noted. During the search and arrests, law enforcement personnel recovered marijuana, drug paraphernalia, ammunition, and a firearm, he reported.
Ethan Swarts was arrested on the following requested charges, Hoffman noted.
Possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school
Felony possession of drug paraphernalia
No drug tax stamp
Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
Criminal use of weapons
Alec Swarts was arrested on the following requested charges, Hoffman reported.
