My name is John Price running for Salina Commissioner. Served as Saline County Commissioner 2012 - 2016.
Did several things to save money for taxpayers.
1. Lowered mill levy.
2. Repaired Health department building.
3. Repaired Road and Bridge building.
4. Keep the old Expo Center.
5. Sheriff old vehicles on purple wave, doubled the price rather then trading them in.
Salina Commissioners are spending way too much money. Property taxes are so high that retired people can't keep their homes. We have great things in Salina. Downtown is booming. K State is growing, Industry is up, Airport has been great.
Do we need to spend money roundabout, lawyer for a hamburger sign, riverwalk, ect?
We need some common sense on the board. Let's make some changes, get out and vote.
Why do Commissioners only meet 2 times a month? I could go on and on.
