Saline County reports 4 new COVID-19 cases; 342 of 427 recovered

Following is the Saline County COVID-19 update for Friday.

There are 4 new positive COVID-19 cases in Saline County that have been identified since the Wednesday, August 19 report. The total for the county is now 427, with 76 cases that are actively being monitored by the

Health Department, 342 that have recovered, and a total of 9 deaths. Salina Regional Health Center reports that they have 2 hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Salina Regional is a regional hospital, the COVID-19 patient total is not specific to the number of Saline County residents who may be hospitalized.
