Neal Jennings

Neal Jennings, the son of Mabel (Gouldie) and Harold Jennings, was born August 31, 1946 at Lebanon, Kansas. He departed this life on Monday, August 24, 2020 at the Smith Center Health and Rehab Center, Smith Center, Kansas at the age of 73.

Neal graduated from the Lebanon High School with the class of 1964.

He served with the United States Army 9th infantry and was a Vietnam War veteran.  


Neal was a farmer in the Lebanon area for many years and a loving son and caregiver to his Mom and Dad in their final years.

 
Neal really enjoyed his cars in his younger years.


Neal is survived by his two nephews, Terry Jennings, Beloit, Kerry Jennings (Sheila) Riley; great nephews, Terran (Lauren), Kansas City and Kyle (Kelsey), Independence; great nieces, Carli and special friend, Tim Clough, Omaha, Nebraska and Haylei, Hastings, Nebraska; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Garth and wife Ethel and an infant brother, Melvin.


Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 10:oo a.m., August 29, 2020 at Cora Cemetery (Cedar Hill Cemetery) with the Les Ellis officiating.
