So we're all aware it has been colder than normal, but by how much? The graphic shows the approximate departure from normal for Friday's observed high temperatures. Most locations were between 30 and 40 degrees below normal. Normal high temperatures are in the mid or upper 40s for most of this area. (Due to averaging, sample values may not precisely match the official departure from normal on climate reports, but should be close.)
