National Technical College Signing Day was on April 20. The day is designed to honor students who are entering a technical field and to celebrate the dignity of their work. I sat down with Brenda Gutierrez, executive director of the Salina Tech Foundation, to talk about the signing event and a $1.8 million grant awarded to Salina Tech by the Kansas Department of Commerce.
