SALINE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Friday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1993 Ford Ranger driven by Georga Diane Stelter, 16, Salina, was, traveling on Crawford Street just east of Kansas 140.
The pickup rear-ended a 2002 Jeep Liberty driven by Steven Paul Norris, 17, Salina, who was stopped in traffic.
The crash caused a chain reaction crash involving four other vehicles including a 2000 Chevy Silverado driven by Carter Lee Underwood, 17, Salina; a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Kaia Lynn Mae Ingalsbe, 17, Salina; a 2008 Pontiac G6 driven by Kennadi Leigh Hobby, 16, Salina and a 2011 Chevy Cruz driven by Lani Marie Richards, 16, Brookville.
EMS transported Stelter to Salina Regional Health Center. There were no other injuries. All the drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
