Agenda items
Commissioners are scheduled to consider a request from the Saline County Health Department to approve a service agreement with Patagonia for an electronic health records system. The system would allow the health department "to move from a paper based and inefficient health record system to an electronic health record and increased efficiencies in our clinical operations," according to information in the commission meeting packet.
Six proposals were received by the review committee, which scored the proposals. The top two provided demonstrations of their systems, and after references were checked, the review committee selected Patagonia.
Other items on the Saline County Commission agenda for Tuesday include the following.
●Consider approving the 2023 Federal Fund Exchange Agreement that would convert $253,207.16 in federal funds for Saline County to state funds at a 90/10 exchange rate. Once converted, the funds could be used by Saline County for any transportation-related expense.
●Consider awarding the bid for 2023 bituminous chip sealing of 46 miles of roadway to Circle C Paving in the amount of $1,367,076.94.
●Consider reappointing Shaun Alvarez, Duane Flaherty, and Michael Trow to the Planning Commission for three-year terms (April 1, 2023-March 31, 2026).
●Hear County Administrator Phillip Smith-Hanes' update.
