A business just west of Salina is out $800 after items were stolen earlier this week.

Sometime between 9 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday, someone broke into K-4 Trailer, RV, and Truck Accessories, 1640 West State Street, Saline County Undersheriff Brent Melander said this morning.

Two new 20-foot Salem campers with bumper hitches were broken into during the incident, he said. Items taken include the following, according to Melander.

A propane heating unit valued at $500

A small black Everchill RV refrigerator valued at $150

The refrigerator was hardwired into one of the campers, Melander said.

Additionally, $150 worth of damage was done to the campers during the burglary, he added.

Melander encouraged anyone with information about the burglary to contact the Saline County Sheriff's Office.
