LINDSBORG - In observance of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Bethany College Criminal Justice Department is hosting a panel discussion later this week.
The discussion is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Lindquist Hall (west end of the library) on the Bethany College campus. The event is open to the public at no charge.
Guest speakers include Sergeant A.J. Elmer of the McPherson County Sheriff’s Office, Anna Hultquist Erickson, Chelsea Sutton of Salina Child Advocacy and Parenting Services (CAPS), Reyna Banda-Torres also with CAPS, and a representative of Bikers Against Child Abuse. The panelists will present their unique perspectives. Immediately following the presentation will be a question/answer session.
