Helen M. Gleason, 78, of Salina, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022. She was born September 20, 1944, in Murphyboro, IL, to Walter and Willa Mae (Bower) Gregory.
Helen moved to Salina with her family.
She graduated from Salina Central High School.
Helen met Gary Brown; two children were born to this union.
Helen was a housewife until she graduated from Brown Mackie College, working at First National Bank.
Helen was a born-again Christian, loved working with people and became a Certified Med Aide, until her health wouldn’t permit anymore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John Schneider, Pete Schneider, and George Schneider.
Helen leaves ex-husband Gary Brown; two children, Lisa Brown and Larry Brown, all of Salina; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-grandson; two sisters, Linda Vogan (Dennis) and Debbie Scruggs (Stanley).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park.
