SALINA - Wanda Jean Eaton, 58, of Salina, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on Aug 24, 1962, in Swisher County, TX, the daughter of Norma Jean Forgason and Johnny Eaton.
Wanda loved her husband Steve, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her fur babies. Wanda was the number one fan of the Dallas Cowboys and her favorite flower was sunflowers. Wanda had a big heart and never met a stranger.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, three brothers, and a nephew.
She is survived by her husband, Steve; her children Steven, Pete, and Christopher Cherry and Amanda (Adam) Baker; grandchildren Stormy and Damien Cherry and Shiann (Kyle) Crowdus; great-grandchild, Kyann McQuaige; her fur baby Harley; and many brother and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday Aug. 9, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary, where the family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Services will be Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Ryan Mortuary. Burial will follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
