Hillsboro - Ronald Herbel, 81, passed away November 13, 2022 at Hillsboro Community Hospital in Hillsboro. &nbsp;He was born September 28, 1941 in Hillsboro to Henry and Lena (Klatt) Herbel. &nbsp;

He married Mary Jane Keller July 8, 1960 in Hillsboro. &nbsp;

Survivors include: sons Rick (Dawn) Herbel of Newton, Randy Herbel of Norton, Kansas; daughters Diana (Tim) Howell of Hillsboro, Janet (Gary) Kade of Ford County, Judy Hollingshead of Ellis; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. &nbsp;

Predeceased by his wife Mary Jane Herbel in 2016. 

&nbsp;Memorial service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro officiated by Rev. John Werner. &nbsp;
