LINDSBORG - Bethany College will celebrate an exciting new chapter in  science and health education with the ribbon-cutting of its state-of-the-art Anatomy Lab.

The event will take place on Friday, October 17, at 11:30 am at the Nelson Science Center, Second Floor, West  Entrance, on the Bethany College campus.

The new Anatomy Lab is designed to provide transformative learning opportunities for students,  strengthening Bethany College’s commitment to preparing the next generation of healthcare leaders.  The program will include remarks, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and tours of the lab, giving attendees a  firsthand look at the innovative space.

“The opening of the Anatomy Lab is a milestone for Bethany College,” said President Laura Crawley.  “This space reflects our promise to give students hands-on, innovative experiences that prepare them not  just for careers in health sciences, but for meaningful lives of purpose and service. Here, discovery and  collaboration come together—hallmarks of a Bethany College education that challenge and develop the  whole person, mind, body, and spirit.”

Bethany College invites alumni, friends, community members, and prospective students to join the  celebration and experience this milestone in Bethany College’s commitment to academic excellence and  student success.

Mark McDonald, Professor of Biology and Chair of the Natural Sciences & Mathematics Division,  added, “Bethany College has a rich tradition of preparing students for success in professional health  programs, with graduates who have gone on to become physicians, physician assistants, physical  therapists, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care providers. Today, throughout Kansas and  across the nation, communities are served with compassion and dignity by Bethany alumni who began  their journey here. In McPherson and Saline County alone, over two dozen health care professionals  began their educational journey at Bethany College.”
