UPDATE: Wind advisory have expired

UPDATE 12:45 p.m. Monday: The wind advisory for Marion County and McPherson County has been extended to 4 p.m.

South winds at 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are forecast.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle.

Wind advisories continue for the area Monday.

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a wind advisory in effect until 1 p.m. Monday for the following counties in our area.

Ellsworth County

Lincoln County

Marion County

McPherson County

Saline County
